The PoE 2 Ice Shot Ring Boosting service delivers a ring that earns its slot through damage contribution. Both flat damage rolls — fire and cold — go directly into Ice Shot’s hit calculation before anything in the passive tree amplifies them, which means they scale harder the more damage multipliers your build already has. Total Resistance landing at +80 is enough to shift your entire elemental coverage situation without needing to reshuffle rings and amulets around it, and the magic find roll just runs passively in the background getting better loot without you doing anything differently.

If you grab the Kalandra’s Touch option, the ring gets mirrored — every modifier locks in permanently and you end up with two identical copies. One goes on, one goes in a trade or on an alt. It is the cleanest way to guarantee the mod combination sticks around regardless of future crafting decisions.
Ice Shot is primarily cold damage, so fire flat might look out of place — but it contributes to the ring’s total damage output regardless, and with the right conversion or elemental hit mechanics in the build it can stack into ailment application. Even without conversion, flat fire damage adds to your character’s total attack damage pool which scales through generic increased attack damage nodes in the passive tree. It is not wasted mod space.
Kalandra’s Touch is a Unique ring that mirrors any ring socketed into it, creating a second copy of that ring’s modifiers. It is one of the few ways to duplicate a well-rolled ring without Mirror of Kalandra cost. The mirrored copy cannot be modified further, but the mods are fully functional — same flat damage, same resistance, same rarity. If the ring’s mod combination is exactly what your build needs long-term, locking it in through Kalandra’s Touch makes sense.
It depends on where your caps sit going in. Most endgame builds run 30–50 points short on one or two resistances before the ring slot is filled. +80 Total Resistance distributed across fire, cold, and lightning can close two gaps simultaneously or push one cap over the threshold while making meaningful progress on a second. It is not a complete solution on its own but it is the strongest single-item contribution to total resistance coverage available in the ring slot.
