Forgotten Relics is a limited-time Arc Raiders event where players recover Old World trinkets, gather vital supplies for the Nomadic Envoys in Speranza, earn Merits, and unlock the Saltwalker outfit before the July deadline. Alongside it, the Converging Paths project uses those relics, ARC materials, and utility items for a separate six-stage reward path.
In this guide, we’ll cover:
- How the Forgotten Relics event and the Converging Paths project work
- How to earn Merits through XP gained and extracted relics
- All Forgotten Relics and their Merit values
- Best places to farm relics in Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, Stella Montis, and Spaceport
- Inventory and extraction tips for saving high-Merit relics
- Every Converging Paths stage, donation requirement, and reward
- All Forgotten Relics event track rewards, including the Saltwalker outfit and Skull Pantomime emote

Forgotten Relics Event Dates and How Converging Paths Works
The Forgotten Relics event and Converging Paths project both run from June 16 through July 27, 2026. Some sources list July 28 as the close date — aim to finish everything by July 27 to be safe, especially if you still need the Elephant Obelisk or Legendary Colorful Shoes.
You can progress both at the same time, but they are tracked separately. Merits advance the Forgotten Relics reward track through XP conversion and extracted relic bonuses. Converging Paths requires manually donating specific relics and materials through the project screen.
Patch 1.33.0 Free Loadout Warning for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny
Embark temporarily disabled free loadouts for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny as a three-week test — keep this free loadout warning in mind before selecting free loadout options in those modes. High-score conditions like Night Raid are strong Merit farms because XP drives event progression, but you will need to bring your own kit.
In-game countdowns for map conditions now appear only 60 minutes before going live. Also in 1.33.0: the Rocketeer now drops launcher ammo instead of heavy ammo, which matters if your ARC material route crosses Rocketeer patrols.
How to Earn Merits in the Forgotten Relics Event

Merits come from two sources:
- XP conversion: Every 100 XP gained converts to 1 Merit automatically. Looting, shooting ARC enemies or enemy Raiders, and successfully extracting all count.
- Relic extraction bonus: Each relic type has a different Merit value — extracting a Forgotten Relic grants bonus Merits based on rarity.
XP is still the main source of progression. Extracted relics act as bonus accelerators: Forgotten Relics contribute extra Merits after extraction, helping you reach reward milestones faster. Track progress on the Forgotten Relics page in the Events menu after each raid.
Lost loot means lost Merits — relics only count if they leave the raid with you. The full track requires 3,150 Merits across 21 rewards, all free event unlocks with no premium pass required.

| Elephant Obelisk | Legendary | 150 |
Best Places to Farm Forgotten Relics in Arc Raiders

Residential and Commercial zones are your best relic sources. Medical and industrial routes can produce occasional relics in containers, but do not rely on them as your main plan.
Specialty spawns: Air Fresheners and Metal Brackets come from Mechanical locations. Light Bulbs spawn in Electrical rooms and car hoods. ARC materials drop from ARC enemies, with stronger units dropping higher-tier materials. Vehicle loot is worth a quick check while rotating, especially for Steering Wheels, but do not build your route around cars.
Container priority: Office drawers and desks are your highest-value targets. Loose furniture — chairs, tables, beds, shelves, floors — also spawns relics, so scan flat surfaces before leaving a room. Lockers and residential cabinets are solid mid-tier sources. Skip medical and industrial crates unless you need supplies.
Best Buried City Relic Farming Route

Run these zones in order for the best relic density:
- Space Travel Building (drawers, desks)
- Research Building (drawers, desks — often cleared early, only prioritize if you spawn close)
- Library
- Grandioso Apartments / A2 residential rooms
- Santa Maria Houses and nearby Plazas
- Parking Garage / breachable containers
These zones are popular. If you spawn far from Space Travel or Research Building, pivot into nearby residential rooms and extract once safe pockets hold high-rarity relics. If the Bird City modifier is active, add rooftops and silver chimneys after clearing interiors — they fill leftover inventory slots with stackable valuables.
Other Forgotten Relics Farming Spots: Dam, Stella Montis, and Spaceport
Dam Battlegrounds is a strong secondary relic map — northern houses, Pattern House, Pale Apartments, and the Research and Development building all have good drawer and locker density. Also useful for Stage 1 and ARC material farming in the southern swamp. Stella Montis (Loading Bay drawers, Cafeteria) works as a good fallback route with lots of drawers. Spaceport’s Departure and Arrival buildings are worth checking if you are already running Night Raid for XP.
Inventory and Extraction Tips for Forgotten Relics

Forgotten Relics do not stack, and inventory space disappears fast.
- Secure Elephant Obelisks and Legendary Colorful Shoes in safe pockets immediately — 150 Merits each, and losing them before extraction usually means losing the bonus Merits.
- Drop filler loot when you find high-Merit relics. An empty inventory slot is worth more than basic ammo or common materials during this event.
- Survivor Augments that increase safe pocket capacity are especially useful here.
- A clean extraction with two Legendary relics beats a greedy run that ends with your backpack on the floor.
The event runs until July 27, so there is no need to force rare farming in one session. If a route is picked clean, switch maps or grind Merits through normal XP.
If you are farming Forgotten Relics through high-risk routes, preparation matters. The ARC Raiders 3+1 Any Raid Bundle is useful for repeated Buried City, Dam Battlegrounds, Stella Montis, or Spaceport runs, while ARC Raiders Loadouts for Sale helps you enter Night Raid, Close Scrutiny, or other dangerous conditions with a ready combat setup instead of risking weak gear.
Converging Paths Project Walkthrough: All Stages, Donations, and Rewards

Items must be successfully extracted before they can be donated. Once they are in your stash, open the Converging Paths project screen from the Raider menu or inventory screen and submit the required items. Completing stages fills your Trophy Display Case in Speranza with visible progress back in your hub.
Stage 1: Secure Safe Passage for the Nomads — Swamp ARC Damage
Objective: Deal 1,200 damage to ARC enemies in the southern swamp area of Dam Battlegrounds. No item collection required. This is a simple opener, but avoid pulling too many ARC units at once if playing solo.
Stage 2: Collect Supplies — Train Models, Steering Wheels, and ARC Thermo Lining
Donations: 3x Train Models, 2x Vintage Steering Wheels, 2x Air Fresheners, 6x Arc Thermo Lining. (Check your project screen for the Thermo Lining count — material requirements can shift after hotfixes.)
Rewards: 3x Smoke Grenade Trap, 3x Explosive Mine, 25 Raider Tokens.
Stage 3: Procure Relics — Sextants, Sundials, and ARC Performance Steel
Donations: 4x Sextants, 3x Equatorial Sundials, 5x Metal Brackets, 7x Arc Performance Steel. Sextants are Uncommon, Sundials Rare — both come from office drawers and commercial interiors.
Rewards: 3x Blaze Grenade Trap, 3x Jolt Mine, 1x Rascal II, 50 Raider Tokens.
Stage 4: Create Emergency Caches — Tellurions and Elephant Obelisk
Donations: 3x Tellurions, 1x Elephant Obelisk, 6x Light Bulbs, 9x Arc Coolant. The Elephant Obelisk is Legendary rarity — safe-pocket it the moment you find one.
Rewards: 3x Surge Coil, 3x Blaze Grenade Trap, 3x Explosive Mine, 50 Raider Tokens.
Stuck on Stage 4 or Stage 5? The Elephant Obelisk, Legendary Colorful Shoes, ARC Coolant, ARC Performance Steel, and ARC Synthetic Resin are where most players start losing time. The ARC Raiders Crafting Materials Boost can cover rare resource farming, while the ARC Raiders Trophy Display Project Boost is the best fit if you want help finishing Converging Paths stages and filling out project progress without repeating the same routes for hours. If your main goal is the event track itself, the ARC Raiders Merits Farm helps push the 3,150-Merit reward path and secure the Saltwalker rewards before the event ends.

Stage 5: Finish the Cabinet of Curiosities — Rare, Epic, and Legendary Colorful Shoes
Donations: 6x Colorful Shoes (Rare), 3x Colorful Shoes (Epic), 2x Colorful Shoes (Legendary), 10x Arc Synthetic Resin. Each rarity tier is a separate requirement — Legendary shoes do not replace Rare or Epic turn-ins. Prioritize higher-tier shoes when inventory space is tight.
Rewards: 1x Combat MK.3 Flanking Augment, 1x Photoelectric Cloak, 1x Bobcat II, 50 Raider Tokens.
Stage 6: Use Nomad Tactics to Fight ARC — Mine and Trap Damage
Objective: Deal damage to ARC enemies using mines or traps on any map. Place mines in chokepoints and lure enemies through. Larger ARC units are easier to bait, but only attempt this if you have space to disengage. Previous stage rewards supply several traps and mines, so most players should not need to craft everything from scratch.
Rewards: Sextant Backpack Charm, Saltwalker Red Black outfit color, 100 Raider Tokens, Surge Coil Blueprint.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do you complete the Forgotten Relics event in Arc Raiders?
To complete the Forgotten Relics event in Arc Raiders, you need to earn Merits and progress through the 21-reward event track. Merits come from XP gained during raids and from extracting Forgotten Relics such as Train Models, Sextants, Colorful Shoes, Tellurions, and Elephant Obelisks. The event also runs alongside the Converging Paths project, which requires donated relics, ARC materials, and several combat objectives.
How do you earn Merits in the Forgotten Relics event?
Merits are earned in two ways. Every 100 XP gained automatically converts into 1 Merit, and extracted Forgotten Relics grant bonus Merits based on rarity. XP is the main source of progress, while relics act as bonus accelerators for reaching reward milestones faster.
How much XP do you need to finish Forgotten Relics in Arc Raiders?
You need 315,000 XP to finish the full Forgotten Relics event track. Since every 100 XP converts into 1 Merit, this equals 3,150 Merits, which unlocks all 21 free rewards.
What are all Forgotten Relics Merit values in Arc Raiders?
Train Models give 10 Merits. Sextants and Vintage Steering Wheels give 15 Merits each. Equatorial Sundials and Rare Colorful Shoes give 25 Merits each. Tellurions and Epic Colorful Shoes give 50 Merits each. Legendary Colorful Shoes and Elephant Obelisks give 150 Merits each.
Where do you find Forgotten Relics in Arc Raiders?
Forgotten Relics are most commonly found in Residential and Commercial zones. Prioritize office drawers, desks, loose furniture, lockers, residential cabinets, shelves, tables, beds, and floors. Medical and industrial routes can still contain occasional relics, but they are not the best main farming plan.
What are the best farming locations for Forgotten Relics?
Buried City is the best primary farming map for Forgotten Relics. The strongest route includes Space Travel Building, Research Building, Library, Grandioso Apartments, A2 residential rooms, Santa Maria Houses, nearby Plazas, and Parking Garage breachable containers. Secondary spots include Dam Battlegrounds residential areas, Stella Montis Loading Bay and Cafeteria, and Spaceport Departure and Arrival buildings.
Can Forgotten Relics spawn anywhere in Arc Raiders?
Forgotten Relics use RNG, so there are no guaranteed static spawn points. They can appear in many containers and as loose loot, but Residential and Commercial areas have the best practical odds. Always scan flat surfaces before leaving a room, because relics can sit on desks, counters, beds, chairs, shelves, and floors.
Do Forgotten Relics have to be extracted to count?
Yes. Forgotten Relics only grant bonus Merits if they leave the raid with you. If you die before extraction and the relic is not protected in a safe pocket, you lose the item and its bonus Merit value.
When does the Forgotten Relics event end in Arc Raiders?
The Forgotten Relics event and Converging Paths project run from June 16 through July 27, 2026. Some listings may show July 28 depending on timing, but the safest approach is to finish everything by July 27.
What rewards do you get from the Forgotten Relics event?
The Forgotten Relics event track includes 21 free rewards, including the Saltwalker Outfit, Saltwalker customizations, Antler Talisman Backpack Charm, Cultist Backpack, Tribal Face Paint, Nomad Jug Backpack Attachment, Raider Tokens, and the Skull Pantomime Emote.
How many rewards are in the Forgotten Relics event track?
There are 21 free rewards in the Forgotten Relics event track. The full track requires 3,150 Merits, or 315,000 XP if you complete it entirely through XP conversion.
How do you unlock the Saltwalker outfit in Arc Raiders?
You unlock the Saltwalker outfit by earning 150 Merits in the Forgotten Relics event track. Additional Saltwalker customizations unlock at later Merit milestones, including Speaker Bag, Sleeve, Camo, Deer Skull, Scarf, Shoulder Pad, Leather Bag, Helmet, Mask, and White Green color customization.
How do you complete the Converging Paths project in Arc Raiders?
To complete Converging Paths, finish all six project stages. These include dealing ARC damage in the Dam Battlegrounds swamp, donating relics like Train Models, Sextants, Tellurions, Elephant Obelisk, and Colorful Shoes, turning in ARC materials, and finishing the final mine/trap damage objective.
What are all Converging Paths project stages and requirements?
Stage 1 requires 1,200 ARC damage in the southern swamp of Dam Battlegrounds. Stage 2 requires Train Models, Vintage Steering Wheels, Air Fresheners, and ARC Thermo Lining. Stage 3 requires Sextants, Equatorial Sundials, Metal Brackets, and ARC Performance Steel. Stage 4 requires Tellurions, Elephant Obelisk, Light Bulbs, and ARC Coolant. Stage 5 requires Rare, Epic, and Legendary Colorful Shoes plus ARC Synthetic Resin. Stage 6 requires mine or trap damage against ARC enemies.
Where is the Swamp in Dam Battlegrounds for Converging Paths Stage 1?
The Swamp for Converging Paths Stage 1 is the southern area of Dam Battlegrounds. Stay in that region and focus on ARC patrols until you complete the 1,200 damage objective.
Where do you find Elephant Obelisk in Arc Raiders?
Elephant Obelisk is a Legendary Forgotten Relic, so it is rare and not tied to a guaranteed spawn. Farm Residential and Commercial zones, especially Buried City routes like Space Travel Building, Research Building, apartments, Santa Maria Houses, and Plazas. If you find one, place it in a safe pocket immediately because it is worth 150 Merits and is required for Converging Paths Stage 4.
Where do you find Colorful Shoes in Arc Raiders?
Colorful Shoes can appear as Forgotten Relics in Residential and Commercial areas, especially as loose loot on furniture or in containers. Farm Buried City apartments, Santa Maria Houses, Plazas, Space Travel, Research Building, and other dense interior routes. Stage 5 requires Rare, Epic, and Legendary Colorful Shoes as separate turn-ins.
How do you complete Stage 6: Use Nomad Tactics to Fight ARC?
To complete Stage 6, deal damage to ARC enemies using mines or traps on any map. Blaze Grenade Traps, Pulse Mines, Jolt Mines, Explosive Mines, and Surge Coils all count. Place traps in chokepoints and bait ARC enemies through them. Larger ARC units are easier to guide into traps, but only attempt this if you have space to disengage safely.
What are the Converging Paths project rewards?
Converging Paths rewards include Smoke Grenade Traps, Explosive Mines, Blaze Grenade Traps, Jolt Mines, Surge Coils, Rascal II, Bobcat II, Combat MK.3 Flanking Augment, Photoelectric Cloak, Raider Tokens, Sextant Backpack Charm, Saltwalker Red Black outfit color, and the Surge Coil Blueprint. The project gives 275 Raider Tokens total from stage rewards.
Are Night Raids good for farming Merits in Forgotten Relics?
Yes, Night Raids can be strong Merit farms because XP drives Forgotten Relics progression, and high-score conditions can generate more XP. However, Patch 1.33.0 temporarily disables free loadouts for Night Raid and Close Scrutiny, so you need to bring your own kit and treat these runs as higher risk.
