Patch 12.1 added more than 22 mounts to Midnight, spread across the Coiled Isle, Season 2 Mythic+, PvP and the Venomous Abyss raid. Midnight Season 2 began August 18 in North America and August 19 in Europe.

Raid Great Vault slots in Season 2 hand out loot from one difficulty above the one you cleared. A Heroic clear fills its slot with a Myth 1/6 item, while a Mythic slot lands at Myth 6/6.

Venomous Abyss raid loot
The Venomous Abyss is an 8-boss raid. The Unbinding of Kith'ix is a separate single-boss raid against the C'Thraxxi general Kith'ix.
The Coiled Altar and Ula'tek are the raid's final two encounters, so weapons from either boss reach Myth 9-equivalent on Mythic. Notable weapon drops include:

Ula'tek drops four Venomcursed cantrip armor pieces: Awoken Dreadfang Cuirass, Gaze of the Coiled Watcher, Venomkeeper's Horrific Cowl and Chausses of Unbound Rancor. Their effects survive Matrix Catalyst conversion.
Raid jewelry includes Sentinel's Vitriolic Chain from Entombed Sentinels, Vile Alchemist's Band from Vashnik the Malignant, Apex Brute's Claw Ring from Sszorak, Amulet of the Twin Fangs from The Twin Fangs, and Aqirbane Reliquary from Ula'tek. The first four reduce Deadly Venom damage in the raid and outdoor zone; Aqirbane Reliquary has a separate stat-shifting effect.
Notable trinkets include Wavecaller's Seastone, First Mate's Shellward, Gebbo's Bottomless Bag, Preternatural Antivenom, Hex Lord's Dooming Idol, Zul'jin's Guillotine Technique, Voracious Heart of Ula'tek and Font of Venomous Rage. Final rankings depend on specialization.
Altar of Fangs also drops four special-effect trinkets: Coiled Fangstone, Knot of Writhing Serpents, Tattered Amani War Banner and Vile Vial of Volatile Venom.
The Tidebound Grotto Lair is a 15–25 player instanced mini-raid around Nymrissa Wavecaller. It drops raid-level loot and counts toward the Raid row of the Great Vault.

Each set uses head, shoulder, chest, hand and leg slots, with Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, Mythic, Gladiator and Elite appearances. Equipping two or four pieces activates the specialization's set bonuses; missing pieces can come from the Great Vault, PvP or Matrix Catalyst.
Delve rewards and the Labyrinth
Bountiful Delves went live with Season 2, adding three new Delves and Azta'rec in Venomfall Deeps. Season 2 adds Ophidian Patagia and Corroded Patagia back transmogs, six Valeera poisons and new Combat and Utility Curios.
The Azta'rec achievements award more than the mount: My Venomous Nemesis gives Apophic Patagia, Purging the Poison gives "the Poisonous" title, and Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Azta'rec gave the Fabled Vanquisher of Azta'rec title during the first week.
Patch 12.1.5 added the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan, an Amani funeral complex with 9 wings, over 50 treasures, a Nemesis boss, its own Journey track and zone-specific rewards and effects.
Prey Season 2 rewards
The Hunt's Season 2 track has ten tiers. The first four hunts each week award 1,000 points, later hunts award 50, and each tier needs 4,000 points.
In a nightmare hunt on Coiled Isle, Ral'kala appears when ossified relics are burned in haunted braziers. Helping with the summon gives the Whispers from the Other Side bonus at tier 1, increasing Ral'kala's loot and currencies by 50%. A nightmare hunt win also validates the lower-difficulty achievements for that hunt.
At tier 4, afflicted souls appear inside heavy chests that come from Abundant Depths level 6 and above; tier 9 then places tormented souls into those same chests. Tier 10 unlocks custom hunts through "Preferential Elimination," the Servant of Astalor title and the Huntmark's Fury mount.
Corrosive souls graft random effects onto a belt or bracers for outdoor content. Those effects are disabled in raids, dungeons, battlegrounds and arenas.

PvP Season 2 rewards
Rival II at 1,950 rating awards the Venomcoil weapon illusion. The season also adds the Venomous Gladiator's Tabard, plus additional Elite and Rank 1 appearances and seasonal titles.
Transmog and collectibles
Beyond the class tier sets, Patch 12.1 adds Cloth, Leather, Mail and Plate outdoor armor from dungeons, Delves, Prey hunts, world quests, Renown and PvP, with a different recolor per activity. Datamined cosmetics include Assassin's Attire recolors, Spice Witch shop sets, friendship bracelets, creature masks, an Amani-themed weapon collection and housing decorations.

Housing gains new Neighborhood Endeavors, higher house levels, Pet Beds and additional decor categories.
Currencies and gearing
Nebulous Voidcore is the Season 2 bonus-roll currency, selectable instead of a normal Great Vault reward from your second vault of the season if any three Vault slots are filled. Raid bonus rolls cost one Voidcore instead of two, and Orin Straylight provides an extra weekly Voidcore starting in Week 8.
Matrix Catalyst conversions preserve a base item's secondary and tertiary stats and qualifying special effects such as Venomcursed cantrips. A full four-piece set unlocks Catalyst Unbound, after which charges drop from Season 2 raid bosses, Mythic+ dungeons, Bountiful Delves and rated PvP.
Ascendant Venomstones upgrade an eligible, fully upgraded Hero or Myth item, or a max-quality crafted weapon, trinket or necklace, to a Myth 8-equivalent ceiling. Ten are required per upgrade. Sources include Heroic and Mythic raid bosses, +10 or higher Mythic+ dungeons, Tier 11 Bountiful Delves and Nightmare Prey Champion gear boxes.
