What Is Camping in WoW Forever
Camping is a new system in WoW Forever that enhances two aspects of the game at once: it encourages more player interaction and makes profession choices and progression more meaningful. Any character with the Cooking profession can set up a Camp, which the group can then fill with items created through various professions.
A Camp has three levels, and its level determines how many objects can be placed:
- Level 1 – 3 objects;
- Level 2 – 5 objects;
- Level 3 – 10 objects.
Each profession, except Cooking, which is used to create the Camp itself, offers one specific object that provides a one-hour buff to anyone who rests by the campfire for at least one minute. You can view the full list of available buffs in the table below.

| Profession | Camping Buff |
| Alchemy | 29 Mana every 5 sec |
| Blacksmithing | 34 Strength |
| Enchanting | 308 Armor, 13 to all stats and 22 to all resistances |
| Engineering | Ability to buy reagents from Reagent Bot |
| Leatherworking | Rested experience up to 5% of a level |
| Tailoring | 32 Spirit, for your own faction only |
| Mining | 90 melee Attack Power |
| Herbalism | 25 Intellect |
| Skinning | 2% critical strike chance |
| Fishing | 8% to all stats |
| First Aid | 56 Stamina |
The other objects primarily benefit the professions that created them. Epiccarry’s WoW Forever Profession Boosts can help you level up any profession, but for now, let’s take a closer look at how they are connected to the Camping system.
Profession Objects in Your Camp

Camping objects are unlocked upon reaching profession levels 20, 140, and 300. The exception is Cooking: instead of unlocking an object at level 20, it grants you the ability to set up a Camp starting at level 1.
Below, we detail the benefits each profession provides for the Camp. This information can help you choose which professions to pursue for your character.
Alchemy

Alchemy has received objects that benefit Intellect-based classes, as well as tools for crafting reagents and potions directly at the Camp:
- Mana Well – Restores 29 Mana every 5 sec.
- Fermenter – Produces certain Alchemy reagents.
- Alchemy Laboratory – Required for the most advanced Alchemy recipes.
Blacksmithing

Blacksmithing includes objects that benefit Strength-based characters and allow you to craft gear at the Camp:
- Sharpening Wheel – Grants 34 Strength.
- Anvil – Provides an anvil at the Camp.
- Master Forge – Needed for the most advanced Blacksmithing recipes.
Enchanting

Enchanting provides a useful buff to any character and significantly improves the efficiency of the profession’s activities:
- Enchanted Lute – Grants 308 Armor, +13 to all stats, and +22 to all resistances.
- Arcane Salvager – Allows you to disenchant items more efficiently.
- Arcane Forge – Required for the most advanced Enchanting recipes.
Thanks to this universal buff, players with this profession will be among the first to be welcomed into the Camp.
Engineering

Thanks to its versatile benefits, Engineering makes characters with this profession welcome additions to any Camp. Engineering offers the ability to purchase reagents and repair gear directly at the Camp:
- Reagent Bot – Sells reagents.
- Repair Bot – Sells reagents and repairs gear.
- Anarchist’s Workbench – Required for the most advanced Engineering recipes.
The ability to repair gear without returning to major settlements is a crucial benefit for any Camp, making a character with Engineering a welcome guest.
Leatherworking

Leatherworking offers a unique buff that boosts experience gain, as well as the ability to craft specific items:
- Camp Tent – Provides Rested experience (up to 5% of a level).
- Tanning Rack – Produces certain Leatherworking reagents.
- Sewing Machine – Required for the most advanced Leatherworking recipes.
Unfortunately, the buff this profession provides can quickly lose relevance. While any player would appreciate having Leatherworking while leveling up, the profession becomes almost useless for the camp once you reach level 60.
Tailoring

The Tailoring profession can be beneficial for casters at the Camp thanks to its useful buff:
- Faction Banner – Grants 32 Spirit (for your own faction only).
- Spinning Wheel – Produces certain Tailoring reagents.
- Loom – Required for the most advanced Tailoring recipes.
Mining

Mining directly affects melee damage and also provides a small bonus in the form of ore:
- Lodestone – Grants 90 Melee Attack Power.
- Rock Garden – Spawns a common mining node over time.
- Molten Foundry – Needed for recipes that require it.
Herbalism

Herbalism is a valuable profession for any Intellect-based character. Players with this profession can also grow plants at the Camp:
- Incense Candle – Grants +25 Intellect.
- Greenhouse – Grows herbs over time from planted seeds.
- Seed Hybridizer – Multiplies seeds or combines them into rarer tiers.
Skinning

Skinning is beneficial for any character thanks to its critical strike buff:
- Camp Chair – Grants 2% critical strike chance.
- Field Guide – Grants “Track Beasts” to whoever reads it.
- Trapper’s Workbench – Holds one trap.
Cooking

Cooking is the foundation of the entire Camping system. Without this profession, you cannot access the buffs provided by any other profession:
- Basic Campfire Kit – Allows you to create a Camp.
- Cookie’s Feast – Provides Stamina-boosting food for everyone at the Camp.
- Iron Oven – Required for the most advanced Cooking recipes.
Since Cooking is a secondary profession with its own dedicated slot, it is a great choice for any player.
Fishing

Fishing provides one of the most beneficial buffs of any profession and significantly improves the fish you can catch:
- Fish Bowl – Grants +8% to all stats.
- Fishing Rack – Provides uncommon fish for 1 hour and Fishing Skill lures.
- Fishing Hut – Provides rare fish for 1 hour and Fishing Skill lures.
The buff from this profession is so useful that Fishing is a must-have for any Camp.
First Aid

The First Aid profession directly affects the survivability of the entire group of players resting at the Camp:
- First Aid Kit – Grants 56 Stamina.
- Toxin Study – Stores healing potions and anti-venom.
- Plague Doctor’s Laboratory – Stores healing potions and poultices.
Legacy perks for Camping

Among the Legacy Perks, there are three that directly affect the Camping System:
| Perk | Tree | Ranks | Description |
| Field Guide | Adventure | 3 | Reduces the cooldown for adding camp features by 8/17/25% |
| Permanence | Resourcefulness | 2 | Class abilities that grant long-duration stat or attribute bonuses to all party or raid members last 50/100% longer. The benefits gained from resting at a camp also last 50/100% longer |
| Reagent Economy | Resourcefulness | 1 | Class abilities no longer require reagents purchased from vendors, and Tier 1 camp features cost no reagents to craft. |
You can use Epiccarry’s WoW Forever Legacy Points Farming service to upgrade your Camp to the maximum level easily.
