WoW Forever Zone Level Ranges and Leveling Routes 1-60

WoW Forever zone level ranges start at 1-10 in the racial starting zones and run up to Mount Hyjal, the level 60 endgame zone. Below you get the routes to follow for each race from 1-30, the zones to move into from 30 to 60, and the level brackets the new Forever dungeons cover. The beta currently caps at level 30, so the higher routes come from the Classic zone list rather than from tested Forever content.

Starter zones and routes to level 30

Every race has a 1-10 starting zone, and the Skyborne start on Zephras Isle instead.

Zones from level 30 to 60

Both factions share the same 30-60 zone pool, with Thousand Needles listed for Horde from 25-35.

• 30-40: Desolace or Arathi Highlands
• 30-45: Stranglethorn Vale
• 35-45: Riverglades, Dustwallow Marsh, Badlands, Swamp of Sorrows
• 40-50: Tanaris, Feralas, The Hinterlands
• 43-55: Searing Gorge, Blasted Lands, Azshara
• 48-55: Un'Goro Crater, Felwood
• 50-60: Burning Steppes, Western and Eastern Plaguelands, Winterspring, Silithus
• 60: Mount Hyjal

Riverglades is a new Forever zone for levels 35-45, a rugged frontier of rivers, grasslands, trade routes and old grudges. Mount Hyjal is the level 60 endgame leveling zone, set after Archimonde's defeat.

Where the awkward level gaps are

The routes double up zones at the same levels rather than pointing to a single zone, which is where players run out of quests first. The 25-30 stretch is the widest split, with Duskwood/Wetlands, Ashenvale, Thousand Needles and Hillsbrad Foothills all listed as options.

Forever dungeons by level bracket

Nine new dungeons are open from launch, spread across the leveling brackets:

• Hall of Thanes (13-18)
• Ruins of Lordaeron (15-20)
• Excavation Site (24-29)
• City of Dalaran (28-33)
• The Drowned City (35-40)
• Krol'Dok Stronghold (40-45)
• Alcaz Island Prison (48-53)
• Blackmaw Hold (55-60)
• Shaper's Terrace (58-60)

What the beta currently allows

At 30 you get ten more talent points and access to the level 20-30 zones: Hillsbrad Foothills, Stonetalon Mountains and the Wetlands. The beta runs through October 21, the last full day of testing. Forever launches on November 4, 2026, with a permanent max level of 60.

If you would rather have the 1-60 trip handled for you, a WoW Forever Leveling Boost has an experienced player run the optimal routes on your character.
