A specialist in radio and electronic devices, Farit Akhmadullovich Genatulin, also known as the Lightkeeper, is a current warden of the Lighthouse and one very gloomy guy. Lightkeeper quests mainly focus on secretive operations, intelligence, and high-end technology acquisition. While the true affiliation of the Lightkeeper is unknown, it’s quite clear that this reclusive and calm trader has some powerful ties with the factions of Tarkov. One of the rewards, Sacred Amulet, even makes Cultists ignore your presence, which can be incredibly useful in certain situations.
Lightkeeper Quests are some of the most challenging and unique ones in the whole of Escape From Tarkov. Whatever connection Farit has to Rogues and Cultists – it’s probably nothing but sinister. It doesn’t concern us, though, sinister or not – we still get our rewards, and oh boy are they great. In just a few seconds Zryachiy and Rogues’ support can turn any hopeless firefight in your favor, and that amulet to keep spooky Cultists away? Priceless. Whether it’s Trouble in a Big City, Missing Informant, or Overseas Trust – our booster has your back.
Turns out claymores and some weirdo with a sniper rifle are the very least of your worries when trying to unlock the Lightkeeper. For starters, the following quests must be completed:
After all the quests above are completed, another 13 missions will become available at the Mechanic:
The last one will, well, get you acquainted with the Lightkeeper. You’ll be given an encoded digital secure DSP radio transmitter that will deactivate the claymores and make Zriachiy look another way while you cross the bridge. Talk with the Lightkeeper and ask him for a job. Done!
