Ragefire Chasm has five quests, and all of them are Horde only. They start in three capitals: Rahauro on Elder Rise in Thunder Bluff gives two, Varimathras in the Undercity one, and Thrall and Neeru Fireblade in Orgrimmar the other two. Each can be taken from level 9, and the dungeon itself is tuned for levels 13 to 18. Take them all before you go down: the portal is in the Cleft of Shadow in Orgrimmar, a few steps from Neeru.

The Kris and the Staff carry spell power; the Hammer is a one-handed mace and the Axe two-handed.

Pickup order and the way in

  1. There is no Alliance quest here, and the city guards kill low-level Alliance players on sight.
  2. In Classic, Alliance groups went by Ratchet to Orgrimmar’s main gate, took off their gear, died to the guards and ran their ghosts through the city to the portal; a ghost that enters comes back to life inside.
  3. Nobody reported during the beta whether that still works in Forever.

The portal sits in the Cleft of Shadow, the canyon in the middle of Orgrimmar, at 53.0, 48.9. After a wipe you release at the spirit healer in Durotar south of the main gate, at about 47.0, 17.5, and run back through the city, so a resurrection from a priest, shaman or paladin saves minutes.

Page updates · Nov 8: all five quests as cards with a faction filter, the pickup order and loot by boss

Bosses

Oggleflint

The first boss sits with two troggs. Crowd-control one of them, have the tank turn Oggleflint away from the group because of his Cleave, and kill the free trogg first. Maur Grimtotem's corpse for the Lost Satchel is beside him.

Taragaman the Hungerer

He stands on a platform in the lava. Tank him in the middle so his Uppercut cannot knock the tank into the lava, and keep ranged players at range from his Fire Nova. Loot his heart for Slaying the Beast.

Jergosh the Invoker

Two adds come with him. Polymorph or otherwise control one while the group kills the other, then Jergosh; his Immolate and Curse of Weakness can be dispelled.

Bazzalan

He is up the ramp in Jergosh's room, with two adds; the one on his left can be pulled without him. His Deadly Poison and Sinister Strike hit the tank hard, so kill him quickly. Jergosh and Bazzalan are the two kills Hidden Enemies asks for.

When a new Ragefire Chasm quest turns up, it is added here as a card, with a line under Page updates.
