Tier lists rank specs by what the best players run in the highest keys. Most players never time those keys, and at +10 or +12 groups bring different specs.
Mythic+ spec check

In timed +12 keys this week and last, groups took Guardian Druid most among tanks, Holy Paladin among healers and Beast Mastery Hunter among damage specs.
What the numbers say this week
In timed +10 keys, the most taken tank was Protection Paladin (26.9 of every 100 timed groups), the most taken healer Restoration Shaman (24.3) and the most taken damage spec Beast Mastery Hunter (39.7).
In timed +20 keys, the most taken tank was Blood Death Knight (43.3 of every 100 timed groups), the most taken healer Holy Paladin (58.5) and the most taken damage spec Subtlety Rogue (53.8).
Arms Warrior grows the most toward the highest keys: 20.6 per 100 timed groups at +10, 53.5 at +20. Beast Mastery Hunter goes the other way: 39.7 at +10, 11.2 at +20.
Groups at mid keys are mixed. The most common five-spec group made up 1.3 of every 1,000 timed +12 runs; at +20 the most common one made up 80.7 of every 1,000. The narrow meta of tier lists belongs to the highest keys.
Timing a +12 in every dungeon puts you in the top 34% of Europe's players and the top 29% in the US, by Raider.IO's score cutoffs.
In the raid, Subtlety Rogue has the highest median of its 100 best logs among damage specs on 3 of 6 Mythic bosses on Warcraft Logs.
Where the numbers come from
Mythic+ numbers count every timed run Raider.IO recorded for Midnight Season 2 in weeks 11 and 12 of the season: 952,163 runs from +2 to +20. Two players of one spec in a group count twice. Raid numbers are the median of each spec's 100 best logs on each Mythic boss on Warcraft Logs, read November 4. Both refresh every day.
