Escape From Tarkov Codes: What Actually Works in 2026

Escape From Tarkov codes are real, but they are redeemed on the official website rather than inside the game, and no source currently publishes a verified list of working codes for 2026. A code list dated December 2025 lists rewards such as Fuel, CALOK-B and 50,000 Roubles, but its code column is empty, so you cannot copy a working code from it.

How to redeem a code

Redemption happens entirely outside the game client, on your account page:

1. Log into your account on the Escape From Tarkov site.
2. Click your username in the top right and select Profile.
3. Click "Activate Promo Code" next to the install button.
4. Enter your code.

Once redeemed, rewards arrive in your in-game messages.

Why your code is not working

Three things break a code: a typo, an expired code, or hitting the redemption limit. Codes are caps-locked, so lowercase letters will fail. The redemption limit is a cooldown, not a permanent block — it starts at two minutes, then increases to five minutes, and so on.

What the December 2025 code list actually contained

The list is worth reading for its rewards, because it shows what kind of items promo codes have handed out. Rewards included Whiskey, Alyonka, Bolts, Nuts, Cord, CALOK-B, Fuel and 50,000 Roubles; Corrugated Hoe, Condensed Milk, Slickers Chocolate Bar, Iskra Ration Pack and Fuel; KEKTAPE Duct Tape, Pack of Sugar and Fuel; SG-919 and GEN M3 30-round magazines; Pineapple Juice; Round Frame Sunglasses and a Roler Submariner Gold Wrist Watch; a PNV-57E, Casque Char Helmet, CMS, Bulbex, Morphine and a Fuel Tank; a Nikita Voice Pack; Wires; a Screwdriver, RAM, Vaseline, PSU and Hot Rod Energy Drink; an M16A1, Aviators, Cowboy Hat and Fuel Tank; and a Camera and Motor. Every one of those entries is marked with an unknown expiry date.

Expired codes named on that page include NIKITAONGMNPODCAST, RELEASEISCOMING, THICC, KILLA, BITCOIN and OBDOLBOS.

Official promotions that do grant items

Not everything free arrives through a promo code. Linking your Discord account to the game grants an in-game reward. Editions of the game also carry bonuses beyond what they previously provided, and the group XP bonus does not stack with other bonuses or with itself — a group mixing Prepare for Escape and The Unheard Edition players gives each 20% more XP, and the same applies to a group of multiple The Unheard Edition players.

Cosmetic sets are sold rather than coded: USEC Gen 4 and BEAR Slavianka sets are available for purchase on the official Escape from Tarkov website, as are USEC ScavTac and BEAR Three Stripes, while USEC Fahrenheit and BEAR Arktika are sold on the official website and on Steam.

How to spot a scam code site

A page that lists codes without a redemption path is the clearest warning sign. The genuine process runs through your profile page on the official site, and rewards land in your in-game messages. If a site asks you to log in somewhere other than the official site, or shows codes with no expiry information at all, it is not following the official redemption process.

Where codes fit in the current game

The game released on November 15, 2025 and the current version is 1.1.5.1.47510, with the newest listed patch dated 18 September 2026. Patch 1.1.0.0 introduced the Seasons system and launched the first season, KORD BREACH. Patch 1.1 also brought a major quest rework, which is why older quest information can be inaccurate. The 1.1.5.0 patch added Leagues, a competitive system available only for Seasonal characters. After your first raid you are placed in a group of 50 players of your rank, each group with its own leaderboard ranked by experience earned during the week. Experience from eliminating PMCs, Scavs and Bosses, completing tasks and examining items counts toward League progress, while experience earned in EFT: Arena does not count toward Leagues but is still awarded to your character. At the end of each week the top 25 players rank up, 15 stay at their rank and 10 are demoted. Reaching a new rank for the first time grants its rewards permanently, even if your rank later drops, and rewards are available in all modes, though rewards delivered by in-game mail may arrive in PvP and PvE modes with a delay. When a Seasonal character's progress resets, the current rank and all experience earned that week reset with it.
