The Mortar Strike Event was launched on September 26, 2024. The skies of Tarkov lit up with explosions, making Customs, Woods, Shoreline, and Reserve feel like someone handed Scavs a big red button. After barrage is all done, an airdrop shows up. Yep, chaos and loot, a classic Tarkov combo. There were also added six quests during the event. If you complete them you get XP, Roubles, gear and Highway to the Danger Zone achievement.

For this event, Customs, Woods, Shoreline, and Reserve turned into live warzones with mortar strikes raining down. The event came with six new quests that made players risk and deploy into these exploding maps. Rewards are worth dodging a few mortar strikes. From helmets to machine guns, moonshine to hand grenades, this event showered players with gear!

Alright, ready to earn the Highway to the Danger Zone achievement? You’ll need to complete Mortar Strike 2024 event by finishing series of quests.
You will want to complete the Cream of the Crop, the quest that holds the key to this Escape From Tarkov legendary achievement. But to even get there, you’ve got to get through a series of other quests. So grab your best loot, dodge the strikes, and prepare for the danger zone!
You will need to complete a quest. To unlock “Is This a Reference?”, you’ve gotta hit level 25 and have a Scav Karma of at least +1. Once you’re in, the real fun begins. Your task? Installing Wi-Fi cameras—and not in the cozy safety of your Hideout, but in some of the sketchiest spots across Streets, Lighthouse, Customs, Reserve, Factory, Shoreline, and Woods. At the end you will get +30,000 EXP, 236,899 Roubles with Intelligence Center Level 2 and that Streamer item case.
