Captain Sanders' hidden treasure is inside the Locked Chest on an island off Westfall's coast in WoW Forever. Interact with the chest to finish the hunt; the completion text describes forcing its rusty hinges open and taking the treasure.
How to start the treasure hunt
The opening quest is level 16, requires character level 10 and is available to both factions. Captain Sander's Treasure Map starts the first step of the hunt.
- Find Captain's Footlocker at (25.9, 47.8) on Westfall's western coast, beside the rusty anchor near a shipwreck, and search it for your next clue.
- Follow the clue east up the bluffs toward the road, then search the Broken Barrel beside the ruined chimney.
- Continue through the Old Jug step beside the windmill, then accept its follow-up to begin the fourth and final quest.
The final Captain Sanders Hidden Treasure quest is also level 16, serves both factions and cannot be shared.

Old Jug and island chest location
| Landmark | Westfall coordinates |
| Old Jug, beside the windmill | (40.6, 17.0) or (40.6, 17.1) |
| Island treasure chest | (26.0, 16.9) or (26.0, 17.0) |
- From the jug, turn west and descend to the beach.
- Enter the water and swim straight west until you reach the island.
- Find the Locked Chest there, the final quest's endpoint.
The final quest provides Final Clue to Sander's Treasure.
If the Locked Chest will not open
We'd return to the Old Jug first if your objective still tells you to search it: you need to finish that step and accept the final quest before using the island chest.
To test whether you have already completed the final quest, enter this command in chat.
/run print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(140))
A result of true means the quest is complete; false means it is not.
