Tsuru Reef: Map Overview

Battlefield 6 Season 4 Guide: Release Date, Roadmap, Tsuru Reef &Amp; New Weapons 11

Tsuru Reef is the largest map released for Battlefield 6 so far, spreading combat across four main islands—Yumeji, Kaze, Dusk, and Mist—plus two smaller headquarters islands. Open water separates much of the battlefield, making naval vehicles essential for moving between objectives.

Majestic Ikoi Resort, Tsuru Air Base, and Tsuru Port feature heavy destruction that opens new routes, removes defensive positions, and changes sightlines throughout each match.

For complete island and sector breakdowns, destruction routes, Deploy Beacon positions, class recommendations, and Conquest and Breakthrough strategies, read our Battlefield 6 Tsuru Reef Map Guide.

Season 4’s Dynamic Wave System pushes boats off course, disrupts onboard weapon aim, and lets large swells provide temporary cover. Diving clears existing spots, bullets lose damage while travelling underwater, and Drag and Revive now works in water.

The four-seat 7.7m NSW RHIB is a fast transport boat built for rotations and flanking. The two-seat RCB-90 is a heavier assault vessel with customizable weapons, a 120mm mortar, and a front ramp that creates a team deployment point near shore.

The basic rule is simple: use the RHIB to move and the RCB-90 to fight. For complete weapon, mortar, loadout, progression, and combat advice, read our Battlefield 6 RCB-90 and Naval Warfare Guide.

Skip the long vehicle progression grind with our BF6 Vehicles Leveling Boost. Choose your target rank and unlock the weapons, modules, upgrades, skins, and camos needed to make the RCB-90, jets, helicopters, or other vehicles combat-ready through Self-Play or Piloted service.

The EF88 is a bullpup Assault Rifle with a slower fire rate, steady damage, and manageable recoil, built for mid-range engagements. The BROD 3 is an aggressive, highly customizable Carbine suited to close-to-mid-range combat, while the VSSM is a suppressed, subsonic Designated Marksman Rifle with an optional full-auto mode.

The Interdictor arrives during the Top Gun phase and unlocks through a Limited-Time Event. It is Battlefield 6’s longest-range sniper rifle and is powerful enough to eliminate pilots through aircraft cockpits.

Season 4’s launch attachments include the 4-inch Shotgun Barrel Extension, which increases projectile velocity at the cost of handling, and the 1P86 LPVO, which switches between 1.5x and 4.5x magnification. August adds the Canted Vertical Grip for improved LMG hip-fire accuracy and draw speed, alongside the Hybrid Suppressor, which combines recoil reduction with in-world and minimap spotting mitigation.

Unlock the best attachments for the EF88, BROD 3, VSSM, or any other gun with our BF6 Weapon Level Boosting. Epiccarry will level your selected weapon, unlock its optics and attachments, and collect the available skins and progression rewards in Piloted mode.

Wake Island, Top Gun, Carrier Strike, and Fighter Sweep

Wake Island, Carrier Strike, and Custom Lobbies all arrive August 18 as part of the Top Gun phase.

The reworked Wake Island partially draws on its Battlefield V version at Battlefield 6 scale, with carrier-based headquarters framing both sides, an offshore aircraft carrier, and bunkers that can be demolished with C4. Carrier Strike combines land, naval, and air forces around one goal: seize and destroy the enemy aircraft carrier. Gauntlet: Fighter Sweep is a jets-only REDSEC mode built around two-seat aircraft and wingman coordination.

Two-seat fighters also debut — the F/A-81F Super Spectre and the swing-wing F-74A Seacat — and the Tsuru Reef carrier expansion adds two playable aircraft carriers. How pilot and second-seat controls will be split hasn’t been detailed yet. Custom Lobbies and Spectator Mode arrive through Battlefield Portal, letting organizers configure matches ahead of time and supporting dedicated observers across standard Multiplayer and REDSEC.

Battlefield 6 Season 4 Battle Pass and BF Pro Explained

Season 4’s Battle Pass contains 100+ tiers, starting with an Intro Path before four themed paths that can be completed in any order. Finishing all four opens the Ultimate and Prestige progression tracks. The EF88, BROD 3, and VSSM are all unlockable through free tiers, so the premium pass isn’t required for the season’s new weapons.

The premium Battle Pass adds a 10% XP bonus across Hardware, Career, and Battle Pass progression. Battlefield Pro raises that to 15%, adds 25 Tier Skips, and includes an exclusive bonus path.

Complete the seasonal track before its rewards disappear with our Battlefield 6 Battle Pass Boost. Select the level you want to reach, and we will unlock every cosmetic, weapon skin, XP booster, and seasonal reward earned along the way.

Season 4 also brings its naval theme into REDSEC around the Fort Lyndon marina, alongside a new Ranked season and reward pool.

  • Vehicle Keycards, MBTs, and IFVs have been removed from REDSEC Ranked Battle Royale.
  • Confirmed Assists now award the same RP as kills, and the full-value kill/assist cap rose from four to eight.
  • Placement RP now extends to the top 22 squads instead of the top 14.
  • The permanent reward pool includes Playercard cosmetics, patches, decals, and rank-themed Brodie skins, with an exclusive S4 Eliminator skin for the top-ranked Elite 250 player.

The M320A1 was also nerfed specifically in REDSEC, receiving less HE ammunition, fewer cluster submunitions, lower damage, and a smaller effective blast area. Standard Multiplayer balance is unaffected. The End of Round screen was also cleaned up, now grouping kill and assist RP with their cap reductions and displaying negative RP totals correctly.

Climb to your target division without spending the entire season grinding with our Battlefield 6 REDSEC Rank Boost. Choose Self-Play or Piloted mode and earn your desired rank, seasonal rewards, account XP, and Battle Pass progress with experienced, region-matched players.
