Best Rewards to Prioritize First

  1. Claim launch bonuses — collect 50 Legendary Marks, two Bright Engrams, and the Toast to the Monument emblem from the Special Deliveries terminal in the Tower.
  2. Unlock all plaque vendors — inspect the Monument, then make the first Tenet of Bravery purchase. The remaining Tenet vendors open after that.
  3. Check title-gated and challenge-gated rewardsChatterwhite requires completing Hawthorne’s weekly Vault of Glass Deepsight quest before purchase. Einherjar Coronet requires eight raid challenge Triumphs. Immortal Legend set requires the Immortal title.
  4. Buy event weapon engrams if you missed old weapons — especially Dawning, Festival, Guardian Games, Solstice, and seasonal pools like Lawless and Reclamation. These are part of the permanent Monument vendor structure; no limited event window is currently attached.
  5. Save upgrade materials for keeper rolls — do not rush Tier 5 upgrades on weapons you plan to replace. Ascendant Alloys and Enhancement Prisms are time-gated.
  6. Attune before every farming session — Attunement Anywhere is free, has no cooldown, and can be changed between runs. There is no reason not to use it.
  7. Farm Distortion windows for high-tier patrol drops — Heroic public events during an active Distortion window are expected to be the main Tier 5 patrol target based on pre-launch info. Confirm the exact reward split after early launch testing. If Distortion-exclusive weapons are confirmed in a destination’s pool, those windows become mandatory farming time.

How to Get Legendary Marks

Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards: How To Get Legendary Marks And Purchase Rewards
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 16

Legendary Marks are the new account-wide currency for Tower Monument purchases. They are earned primarily through Monument Triumphs — including objectives tied to endgame content, playlists, destinations, and account-wide Monument achievements. Any Marks granted through the Triumphant Rewards Pass should be treated as bonus income rather than the main farming path until the full track is verified. Exact earn rates per activity and Triumph category should be mapped out as the full Triumph list becomes clear through early testing.

Monument Triumphs can be opened directly from any Tenet vendor screen through the “View Triumphs” button, or from the Journey tab under the Monument of Triumph category. Both paths work; the vendor screen route is faster when you are already at the Tower.

Login and launch bonuses: Every player logging in during the Monument of Triumph launch period receives 50 Legendary Marks, two Bright Engrams, and the Toast to the Monument emblem. Claim this package from the Special Deliveries terminal in the Tower. Veteran accounts that participated in every major Destiny 2 expansion may also qualify for the Old Lights emblem and Elemental Qi emote — check veteran reward eligibility through Bungie’s veteran reward flow or Special Deliveries.

Tower Monument and Plaque Vendors

Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Tower Courtyard Vendors, Triumph Rewards, And Exotic Weapons
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 17

The Tower receives a permanent visual refresh alongside a new Monument structure in the courtyard. The Monument has four plaques — Bravery, Devotion, Sacrifice, and Death — each with an associated Tenet vendor. Your first purchase must be made at the Tenet of Bravery. After that initial purchase, the remaining Tenet vendors unlock.

All Tenet vendors carry a selection of armor ornament sets and Ghost, Ship, and Sparrow accessory sets in addition to their plaque-specific rewards — check every vendor before assuming a cosmetic belongs to only one of them.

What Each Tenet Sells

TenetNotable Rewards
BraveryExotic weapons including Fafnir and Heir Apparent; event weapon catch-up engrams; general engrams
DevotionSRL cosmetics, racing-themed ornaments, skimmers including Gryphon, and emotes
SacrificeSuperblack shader; Holochip; general cosmetics
DeathChatterwhite shader; Einherjar Coronet; raid and dungeon cosmetics

Fafnir and Heir Apparent are the major Exotic weapon purchases tied to the Tenet of Bravery. If weapons are a higher priority than cosmetics, check Fafnir’s Legendary Mark cost before spending your starting 50 Marks elsewhere.

Monument Vendor Shopping Checklist

  • Exotic weapons: Fafnir, Heir Apparent
  • Prestige shaders: Chatterwhite (quest-gated), Superblack
  • Skimmers: All Star Vector, Gryphon, and other Monument skimmers
  • Universal ornaments: class sets (12 per class), faction ornaments, Turncoat ornament
  • Event and legacy engrams: Dawning, Festival, Guardian Games, Solstice, Lawless, Reclamation, Pinnacle Ops, Crucible, and Fireteam Ops weapon pools
  • Raid and dungeon cosmetics: through the Tenet of Death
  • Title-gated rewards: Immortal Legend set (requires Immortal title)

  1. Fafnir / Exotic weapon purchases — best first stop if gameplay power is the priority; check Fafnir’s cost before spending your starting Marks on anything else
  2. Event and legacy engrams — if you missed time-gated weapons from Dawning, Festival, Guardian Games, Solstice, or seasonal pools, spend here before cosmetics
  3. Superblack — listed under the Tenet of Sacrifice and not among Bungie’s named special-requirement examples; if it only requires Marks, it is one of the easiest prestige shader targets
  4. Chatterwhite — high priority, but quest-gated behind Hawthorne’s weekly Vault of Glass Deepsight quest; plan for it rather than buying on day one
  5. Einherjar Coronet — raid challenge-gated (eight Triumphs in Teamwork: Raid Challenges); track it if you are raiding consistently
  6. Universal ornament sets — best long-term cosmetic value for players running multiple armor sets
  7. All Star Vector, Gryphon, and other skimmers — prestige cosmetic spending; may be one of the more expensive purchases, so confirm cost before budgeting
  8. Immortal Legend set — completionist purchase, title-gated

Event Weapon Catch-Up

Monument Of Triumph Vendor Guide: Tenet Rewards, Armor Ornament Sets, And Bright Engram Focusing
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 19

The Tower Monument plaque vendors sell infinite purchasable engrams covering a wide range of previously time-gated weapons. This goes well beyond holiday events — the confirmed catch-up pool includes:

  • Dawning weapons
  • Festival of the Lost weapons
  • Guardian Games weapons
  • Solstice weapons and armor
  • Lawless seasonal weapons
  • Reclamation seasonal weapons
  • Pinnacle Ops weapons
  • Crucible weapons
  • Fireteam Ops weapons

These are part of the permanent Monument vendor structure; no limited event window is currently attached.

Confirm in-game: the tier level of catch-up engram drops. If they drop at Tier 1 with fixed perk columns, you are working toward an upgraded Tier 5 ceiling rather than an organic one. See the weapon tier section below for why that distinction matters.

Vendor Rank Tracks and Gear Focusing

Rank tracks are restored for all major vendors. Each ritual playlist vendor has a dedicated currency for gear focusing:

Tiered Armor Focusing by Power

Vendor armor focusing scales with Power bracket. Tier 3 and Tier 4 armor are accessible at lower Power thresholds. Tier 5 armor focusing requires higher Power — it is a late-progression path, not an early shortcut.

At mid-range Power, vendor focusing is the most efficient route to Tier 3 and Tier 4 pieces with good stat rolls while organic Tier 5 drops are still being accumulated. At higher Power, Tier 5 focusing through the relevant vendor becomes the fastest route to a specific piece without waiting on rotation schedules.

For weapons, whether focusing targets specific tiers or only specific weapons within the standard drop pool is not confirmed in pre-launch materials. Confirm at launch.

When Focusing Beats Raw Farming

Vendor focusing is often more efficient than raw activity farming for specific pieces once currency is accumulated:

  • Focuses a specific item rather than the full loot table
  • Removes rotation dependency for activities on weekly lockouts
  • At higher Power, Tier 5 focusing gives direct access to the ceiling without needing a featured week

The trade-off: focusing costs currency that also has other uses, and raw farming builds currency alongside drops. If you need one specific weapon with one specific perk, focus. If you are building out a broad Tier 5 arsenal across multiple weapons, raw farming while accumulating currency is more efficient.

Which Vendor Currency Should You Farm First?

  • Iron Battalion — bank Iron Banner Ciphers during active IB weeks; Trials does not run concurrently
  • Cruel Electrum — Trials Engrams via Saint-14; Trials weekends only
  • Per Audacia — Crucible Ciphers through Competitive rank progression
  • Triumphal Anthem — Crucible Ciphers through Shaxx, accessible across all Crucible Ops playlists
  • Armor 2.0 raid armor — Spoils of Conquest through Hawthorne; these pieces are not available through standard activity drops post-Monument of Triumph

Weapon Tier System

Destiny 2 Legendary Marks Guide: Best Monument Of Triumph Rewards To Buy First
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 21

Monument of Triumph introduces a five-tier weapon progression system across the entire loot pool — ritual playlist weapons, raid and dungeon drops, crafted weapons, and Adept raid pieces all enter the same framework. Tier is not a static property of a weapon. It is a progression track you advance through the upgrade mod socket in the weapon inspection screen.

Tier Milestones

TierWhat Unlocks
Tier 1Base weapon as dropped
Tier 3Enhanced Weapon Mods
Tier 5Enhanced perks, enhanced mods, enhanced barrel and magazine components, Masterwork stat boost, Combat Flair cosmetics

Tier 3 is the first meaningful threshold. Tier 5 is the ceiling.

Upgrade Costs

Upgrading from Tier 1 to Tier 5 costs Glimmer, Ascendant Alloys, and Enhancement Prisms. Exact per-step costs are not confirmed in pre-launch materials. Do not commit materials to a weapon you are not certain about keeping until costs are documented at launch.

Two Critical Limitations

Upgrading cannot add perks to existing columns. If a weapon dropped with one perk in a column, upgrading it to Tier 5 does not add a second option. Perk pools are fixed at drop.

Multi-perk columns require organic Tier 5 drops. Weapons with multiple options in a perk column — where you can choose between two perks in the same slot — only appear on weapons that dropped at Tier 5 naturally. You cannot upgrade your way into multi-perk column flexibility.

The upgrade system is a path to maximize a roll you already have, not a way to improve a suboptimal roll into a better one.

Organic Tier 5 vs Upgraded Tier 5

Organic Tier 5 drops directly from high-end activities at Tier 5 and can have multi-perk columns. This is the ceiling version of a weapon and should always be the goal when farming endgame content.

Upgraded Tier 5 is any weapon you took from a lower tier to Tier 5 through the upgrade socket. It has all Tier 5 benefits — enhanced perks, enhanced mods, enhanced components, the stat boost — but perk columns are fixed at whatever the weapon dropped with. Still a strong weapon; it just will never have multi-perk column flexibility.

When to upgrade vs keep farming:

Upgrade when the weapon has the exact perk combination you want in single-perk columns, when you need it functional now, or when the next farming window for that activity is weeks away.

Keep farming when you want multi-perk column flexibility, when the current roll has a suboptimal perk you want to replace, or when the activity is on a favorable rotation and organic Tier 5 drops are accessible soon.

Crafted Weapons

Crafted weapons enter the tier system through weapon level milestones rather than the upgrade mod socket. The specific level thresholds per tier step are not confirmed in pre-launch materials. The practical implication: crafted weapons still require time in activity to reach Tier 5 — they do not bypass the system through materials alone.

Enhanced perks on crafted weapons unlock through level progression, not the upgrade socket. This keeps crafted weapons closer to their existing identity: controlled perk selection through leveling rather than pure drop RNG.

Crafted weapons cannot have multi-perk column flexibility — you pick one perk per column at the time of crafting. The advantage they retain is that perk selection is user-controlled rather than RNG-dependent.

Adept Raid Weapons

Adept raid weapons enter the tier system through Enclave upgrades rather than the standard upgrade socket. Exact process and material costs are not confirmed in pre-launch materials. Their intrinsic advantages — additional mod slots, Adept-specific mods, stat bonuses — stack on top of Tier 5 unlocks rather than sitting separately. A fully upgraded Adept weapon at Tier 5 is the highest-end version of any given weapon type in the game. Adept weapons drop from challenge completions in featured raids during their rotation week.

Which Weapons to Upgrade First

Upgrade resources — Ascendant Alloys and Enhancement Prisms especially — are finite and time-gated. A few principles:

  • Upgrade activity-locked weapons first. Weapons that only drop during specific rotations or limited events cost more to re-farm. If you have a good roll of a dungeon weapon that is off-rotation for weeks, upgrading it is more efficient than waiting.
  • Upgrade weapons in your current endgame loadout. Enhanced perks and the Masterwork stat boost matter most on weapons you are actively using in Pantheon, raids, or endgame PvP.
  • Do not upgrade a roll you plan to replace. If you are actively farming for a better version — a different perk in one column, or holding out for an organic Tier 5 with multi-perk columns — do not sink Ascendant Alloys into the inferior roll. Run it at Tier 3 for Enhanced Weapon Mods if needed and hold the Tier 5 materials for the version you want to keep.
  • Crafted weapons do not need the upgrade socket path. Put materials toward leveling instead of competing with your Ascendant Alloy supply.
  • PvP weapons require a decision. Enhanced perks and the Masterwork stat boost matter in PvP, but multi-perk column flexibility matters more. Decide whether to upgrade or continue farming for an organic Tier 5 before committing materials.

Attunement Anywhere

Attunement Anywhere is Monument of Triumph’s weapon targeting system. One weapon can be attuned per supported activity type. Attuning a weapon increases its drop rate from that activity for the session. No currency, no cooldown, no penalty for switching between runs.

Supported Activities

Distortions, Royal Drops, Solo Ops, Fireteam Ops, Arena Ops, Pinnacle Ops, Crucible Ops, Trials, Iron Banner, Gambit, Onslaught, and SRL.

Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Catch-Up Guide: Seasonal Events, Previous Seasons, And Legacy Weapons
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 24

Practical Use

  • Identify the specific weapon you want before starting a session, then attune it
  • Switch freely between sessions — no cost to changing targets
  • When multiple desirable weapons are available, attune the one with the lowest baseline drop rate or the longest gap before its next natural farming window
  • Attunement increases probability, not certainty. Volume still matters alongside targeting
  • Armor is not included. Armor farming runs through activity drops, vendor focusing, and event currencies. If your priority is a specific armor piece, Attunement Anywhere does not help and your time is better spent on the vendor focusing path for that set

Stacking Attunement with Distortion Windows

Attunement Anywhere and Distortion patrol farming work together. Attuning a specific destination weapon before a Distortion window opens should pair well with the elevated loot potential from that window, assuming the weapon is part of the supported attunement pool. Attune first, then queue into the window.

Whether attunement applies to Distortion-exclusive drops or only to the standard destination loot table should be confirmed through early testing.

Distortion Loot Basics

Monument Of Triumph Bright Dust Guide: Bright Engram Focusing, Silver, And Cosmetic Rewards
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 25

Distortions are an hourly empowerment system that rotates through patrol destinations. During an active Distortion window, destination activities and public events can award high-tier loot, with Heroic public events expected to be the main Tier 5 patrol target based on pre-launch information. Confirm the exact normal/Heroic reward split after early launch testing — the live reward table may differ from preview materials.

Heroic public events during a Distortion window are still the most loot-efficient patrol activity available. Whatever the exact tier split, the gap between a Distortion window and standard patrol farming is real.

Certain weapons are Distortion-exclusive — they only drop during active windows and cannot be obtained through normal patrol play, vendor focusing, or other acquisition paths. If a weapon you want is Distortion-exclusive, you work around the hourly rotation. The full list of exclusive weapons per destination should be confirmed through early community testing.

Destinations confirmed as part of the rotation include Cosmodrome, Nessus, Europa, Dreaming City, Moon, Neomuna, and Throne World. Whether all patrol destinations participate or only a subset is not confirmed. The community will establish the full rotation schedule quickly post-launch.

Reward Pass and Account Progression

Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Armor Ornaments Guide: Free Armor Ornaments And Vendor Sets
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 26

The final reward pass, renamed the Triumphant Rewards Pass, has no pre-planned expiration date. Progress accumulates at whatever pace you play.

Based on pre-launch reward pass previews, the track includes cosmetics, Bright Dust, XP boosts, and the new Exotic Hand Cannon, Turncoat. Exact tier placement and full track contents should be confirmed in-game as the pass track is reviewed.

Confirmed or strongly sourced track rewards:

  • Bright Dust rewards at multiple tiers
  • XP boosts for personal play and fireteam members
  • Two additional armor sets
  • Six shaders
  • A custom Ghost hologram
  • A new skimmer
  • Turncoat, an Exotic Hand Cannon — confirm its exact pass tier, catalyst tier, and ornament placement in-game

If XP boost tiers are accessible early in the pass, prioritize reaching them before spending attention on cosmetic tiers — they have the most practical value for players leveling characters or farming Power.

Bright Engram Focusing

Bright Dust can now be used to focus Bright Engrams into specific cosmetic categories rather than pulling from the full Eververse pool: shaders, emotes, finishers, Exotic weapon ornaments, and Exotic armor ornaments. Focused engrams only award cosmetics you do not already own — once every item in a category is collected, that category locks. No wasted pulls on owned items.

A rotating Daily Offer provides one direct Bright Dust purchase per day. The offer rotation is daily — check Eververse before spending large amounts of Bright Dust on focused engrams, in case a specific item you want is coming up in the rotation at a better price.

Both Bright Dust and Chronology are now tracked directly on the character UI rather than requiring a vendor visit to check balance.

Vault, Loadouts, and Exotic Transmog

Monument Of Triumph Rewards And Loot Farming Guide: Distortions, Attunement, And Tier 5 Drops
Destiny 2 Monument Of Triumph Rewards Guide: Legendary Marks, Tier 5 Weapons, Vendors, And Attunement 27

Vault space has been expanded — confirmed reports put the new cap at 1,300 slots, up from 1,000, though confirm the exact figure in-game. Loadouts increase from 12 to 20, with each slot now saving a complete build configuration, including Artifact perk selections. Exotic armor pieces can now use standard ornaments while keeping the yellow Exotic icon, with custom ornaments disabled in active PvP matches. These changes matter together: Monument adds more armor sets, more Tier 5 keeper rolls, and more cosmetic flexibility at the same time, and the expanded vault and loadout counts give you room to actually use all of it.

Activity Difficulty and Reward Tiers

The tier of gear you receive scales with activity difficulty. The full mapping:

Difficulty / GradeReward Tier
Normal / CTier 1
Advanced / BTier 2
Expert / ATier 3
Master / A+Tier 4
Grandmaster / STier 5
Ultimate / S+Tier 5
Crucible Grade A or higherTier 5

For weapon farming, this means Master difficulty and above — and Grandmaster for reliable Tier 5 — are the activity thresholds that matter. Distortion Heroic public events are an exception to the standard difficulty ladder: they are expected to reach high-tier loot from patrol content, which is why Distortion windows matter for players not running endgame content. Confirm exact tier rewards through early community testing.

Monument of Triumph has several Bungie Rewards tied to the update: the Monument of Triumph shirt for players who earn the Immortal title by the listed deadline, a free digital soundtrack reward, and a Sparrow Racing League jacket arriving later in June. These do not affect in-game power or vendor progression. They are separate from Legendary Mark vendors and in-game loot. Frequently Asked Questions

How do you get Legendary Marks in Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph?

You get Legendary Marks by completing Monument of Triumph Triumphs. These Triumphs cover account-wide objectives tied to endgame content, playlists, destinations, and other Monument achievements. You can open the Monument Triumph list from any Tenet vendor screen through the “View Triumphs” button, or from the Journey tab under the Monument of Triumph category.

What are Legendary Marks used for in Destiny 2?

Legendary Marks are used to purchase rewards from the Monument of Triumph Tenet vendors in the Tower Courtyard. These purchases include Exotic weapons, armor ornament sets, shaders, skimmers, emotes, event and legacy weapon engrams, raid and dungeon cosmetics, and other Monument rewards. Some items also require a Triumph or title unlock before you can buy them.

Where are the Monument of Triumph vendors in the Tower?

The Monument of Triumph vendors are located at the new Monument structure in the Tower Courtyard. The vendors are represented by four plaques called the Tenets of Bravery, Devotion, Sacrifice, and Death. Each Tenet vendor has its own reward stock, while all vendors also carry some shared cosmetic categories.

How do you unlock all Tenet vendors in Monument of Triumph?

To unlock all Tenet vendors, first inspect the Monument in the Tower Courtyard and make your first purchase from the Tenet of Bravery. After that initial Bravery purchase, the remaining Tenet vendors — Devotion, Sacrifice, and Death — become available.

What should I spend Legendary Marks on first?

The best first Legendary Mark purchase depends on your goal. If gameplay power matters most, check Fafnir and other weapon purchases first. If you missed old event or seasonal weapons, prioritize event and legacy engrams. For cosmetics, Superblack is likely one of the simplest prestige shader targets, while Chatterwhite, Einherjar Coronet, and Immortal Legend are stronger long-term goals because they require extra unlocks.

How do you get the Chatterwhite shader in Monument of Triumph?

Chatterwhite is sold through the Tenet of Death, but it is not a simple day-one currency purchase. Before you can buy it, you need to complete Hawthorne’s weekly Vault of Glass Deepsight quest. Once that requirement is cleared, Chatterwhite becomes a Legendary Mark purchase through the Monument vendor system.

How do you get the Superblack shader in Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph?

Superblack is listed under the Tenet of Sacrifice. Unlike Chatterwhite, it is not one of the main special-requirement examples tied to a separate quest or title in the guide, so it should be checked early if you want a prestige shader. Confirm the live Legendary Mark cost before spending, since exact vendor prices may change or require launch verification.

What does the Tenet of Bravery vendor sell?

The Tenet of Bravery is the first Monument vendor you need to use. It sells major Exotic weapon rewards, including Fafnir and Heir Apparent, along with event weapon catch-up engrams and general engrams. Since Bravery unlocks the rest of the Tenet vendors, it should be your first stop at the Monument.

What does the Tenet of Devotion vendor sell?

The Tenet of Devotion focuses on SRL and racing-themed cosmetics. Its notable rewards include Sparrow Racing League cosmetics, skimmers such as Gryphon, racing-themed ornaments, and emotes. The full SRL farming and racing side of the update is better covered in a dedicated SRL guide, but Devotion is the main reward vendor to check for those cosmetics.

What does the Tenet of Sacrifice vendor sell?

The Tenet of Sacrifice sells the Superblack shader, the earnable Holochip, and general cosmetics. It is one of the most important plaques for players chasing prestige cosmetics, especially if Superblack only requires Legendary Marks and does not have an additional challenge gate.

What does the Tenet of Death vendor sell?

The Tenet of Death sells Chatterwhite, Einherjar Coronet, raid and dungeon cosmetics, and other high-prestige cosmetic rewards. Several of its most desirable items require extra unlocks: Chatterwhite requires Hawthorne’s weekly Vault of Glass Deepsight quest, and Einherjar Coronet requires eight Triumphs in Teamwork: Raid Challenges.

How do you get Fafnir in Destiny 2 Monument of Triumph?

Fafnir is tied to the Tenet of Bravery vendor in the Tower Courtyard. If you care about gameplay rewards before cosmetics, check Fafnir’s live Legendary Mark cost before spending your starting Marks elsewhere. It is one of the most important weapon purchases in the Monument reward structure.

Can you buy old event weapons in Monument of Triumph?

Yes. Monument of Triumph adds permanent event and legacy weapon catch-up engrams through the Tower Monument vendors. These engrams cover weapons from past events and seasonal pools, letting players chase rewards that were previously tied to limited-time windows.

Which event weapon engrams are available from Monument vendors?

The catch-up pool includes Dawning weapons, Festival of the Lost weapons, Guardian Games weapons, Solstice weapons and armor, Lawless seasonal weapons, Reclamation seasonal weapons, Pinnacle Ops weapons, Crucible weapons, and Fireteam Ops weapons. The exact tier level of these engram drops should be checked in-game before spending heavily.

How does the Tier 5 weapon system work in Destiny 2?

Monument of Triumph adds a five-tier weapon progression system. Tier 1 is the base version of a weapon, Tier 3 unlocks Enhanced Weapon Mods, and Tier 5 unlocks enhanced perks, enhanced mods, enhanced barrel and magazine components, a Masterwork stat boost, and Combat Flair cosmetics. Lower-tier weapons can be upgraded, but the original perk columns do not change.

What is the difference between organic Tier 5 weapons and upgraded Tier 5 weapons?

Organic Tier 5 weapons drop naturally at Tier 5 from eligible high-end activities and can have multi-perk columns. Upgraded Tier 5 weapons are lower-tier drops that you raise to Tier 5 through the upgrade system. Upgraded Tier 5 weapons get the Tier 5 benefits, but they keep their original perk-column structure and cannot gain extra perk options.

Can crafted weapons be upgraded to Tier 5 in Monument of Triumph?

Crafted weapons enter the tier system through weapon level milestones rather than the normal upgrade mod socket. They still require time and weapon leveling to reach higher tiers. Crafted weapons keep their main advantage — controlled perk selection — but they do not gain organic multi-perk column flexibility.

How does Attunement Anywhere work in Destiny 2?

Attunement Anywhere lets you target one weapon per supported activity type. Attuning a weapon increases its drop chance from that activity, and you can switch targets freely with no currency cost or cooldown. It works for weapon farming, not armor farming, so armor still comes from activity drops, vendor focusing, and event currencies.

What are Distortions and how do they help with loot farming?

Distortions are rotating patrol-zone events that empower a destination for a limited window. During an active Distortion, destination activities and public events can award higher-tier loot, with Heroic public events expected to be the main high-tier patrol target. Distortions also matter because some weapons may be exclusive to active Distortion windows.

How does Bright Engram focusing work in Monument of Triumph?

Bright Engram focusing lets you use Bright Dust to focus Bright Engrams into specific cosmetic categories, such as shaders, emotes, finishers, Exotic weapon ornaments, and Exotic armor ornaments. Focused engrams only award cosmetics you do not already own, and once you complete a category, that category locks. The daily Bright Dust offer rotation is also worth checking before spending heavily on focused engrams.
