Now, don’t worry about what class you’re playing — these sets aren’t about whether you’re slinging spells or smashing skulls. That glorious plate mail or flowing robe? Yeah, it’s all just for looks anyway, so even your rogue can look like they just walked out of a Blacksmith’s nightmare.

Don’t stress about armor types with this one. Seriously, don’t. Whether you’re a mage, a warrior, or something in between, you can rock your heritage armor like it’s your job. The whole point is that it’s a transmog-only set, meaning no one cares if you’re actually wearing leather underneath — everyone’s going to see you in that glorious Tauren war regalia or sleek Nightborne threads.

The process is pretty straightforward: Level your character to 50, then complete the questline for your race’s heritage armor set. 

Now, here’s the fun part. You can use a character boost to get the armor. Yep, no need to grind your way through 50 levels of boars and bandits. 

In a perfect world (of Warcraft), yes. Every race will eventually get their shiny, unique Heritage Armor Set. Blizzard is slowly rolling them out. There’s no official word on when every race will get a set. They’ve already been adding sets periodically, so it’s just a matter of time before your favorite race gets their time in the spotlight.

The good news is, if you’re playing an Allied Race, you don’t need any reputation to unlock your Heritage Armor. Just level up to 50, do the quests, and you’re good to go. However, if you’re one of the core races (like Orcs, Humans, Night Elves, etc.), you’re gonna have to pull out that dusty reputation bar and grind your way to Exalted with your home faction.
