Covenant Assaults is one of the features added in patch 9.1. Assaults are new World Events that will have you rallying Covenant forces to attack key locations in the Maw. Conceptually, they are very similar to Visions of N’Zoth Assaults: each is a bi-weekly scenario. During an Assault, you will need to aid the leading faction of the quest-giving faction by completing four quests that vary from one assault to another. Completing each of them grants you an opportunity to earn 125 reputation with the faction that initiated the assault, gold, some Reservoir Anima. Once all quests are done, player will participate in the final fight with the commander of Mawsworn and wrap the assault.

Our players will complete any active assault with your character and claim all the rewards for your benefit. Upon completing a Covenant Assault, you will receive the following rewards:

• 350 Reputation with the new Chains of Domination faction — Death’s Advance;
• 1000 Reputation with the Covenant that initiates an assault;
• A War Chest containing:
  • 200 Stygia;
  • 50 Soul Cinders;
  • 1 Korthite Crystal;
  • A chance to get Korthian Armaments, a gear token that will turn into a random armor piece upon being used. The item will be equivalent to the best World Quest gear available to you;
  • 3 Archivist’s Codex Relic tokens that can be turned in for 100 Cataloged Research each.

In addition, each of the War Chests may drop a variety of rare mounts, toys, and battle pets from each scenario:

• Kyrian Assault chest may drop The Copperback Etherwyrm battle pet and the Vesper of Faith toy;
• Necrolord Assault chest may drop the Undying Darkhound’s Harness mount and the Fodder battle pet;
• Night Fae Assault chest may drop the Legsplitter War Harness mount and the Invasive Buzzer battle pet;
• Venthyr Assault chest may drop the Harvester’s Dredwing Saddle mount.

The ETA for each individual assault is 1-2 hours. However, since Covenant Assaults are only available one at a time and are reset on a bi-weekly basis, the rate of the farm is no more than 2 assaults per week.
