Boss

Critical Mechanic

The Hoardmonger

Throughout the fight, the boss empowers three different abilities, making each phase increasingly dangerous. Tanks must always position the boss facing away from the group to avoid the cone-shaped Earthshatter Slam attack. After Colossal Roar, the entire group will take heavy damage — healers should be prepared with strong cooldowns to keep everyone alive.

Sentinel of Winter

At 100 energy, the boss begins casting Eternal Winter, which inflicts massive group-wide damage and knocks players back. The only way to interrupt this cast is to destroy the Veil of Frost as quickly as possible, so players should focus on this mechanic immediately.

Nalorakk

The boss’s deadliest ability, Surge, targets the farthest player, dealing immense damage and increasing their damage taken by 500%. Proper positioning and defensive coordination are crucial to surviving this mechanic.
