Riding Nether Rays are reputation reward mounts that require players to reach exalted status with the Sha’tari Skyguard faction. Follow the steps below to start your journey towards obtaining this awesome mount:

  1. Travel to Shattrath City. The Sha’tari Skyguard faction is based in Shattrath City, so that’s where you need to go to start earning a reputation. If you’re not sure where Shattrath City is located, it’s in the Terokkar Forest zone. Alliance players can reach it easily by taking the portal from Stormwind City or Ironforge, while Horde players can take the portal from Orgrimmar or Undercity.
  2. Complete Quests and Kill Mobs. To earn a reputation with the Sha’tari Skyguard, you’ll need to complete quests and kill mobs in the Skettis area of Terokkar Forest. This is a level 30 area, so you’ll need to be at least level 40 to start working on this reputation grind. The more quests you complete and mobs you kill, the more reputation you’ll earn.
  3. Buy Mounts from Neutral Grella. Once you reach exalted status with the Sha’tari Skyguard, you can buy Riding Nether Ray mounts from Neutral Grella at Blackwind Landing in Terokkar Forest for 200g.
