WoW Prey Boosting System Explained
Prey Hunts are a new activity introduced in the Midnight expansion. This system focuses on solo boss encounters, where you must first track down your target by completing World Quests, discovering treasures, or killing rare enemies. Once ready, you can accept a bounty at the Hunt Table in Astalor’s Sanctum.
You can choose the difficulty of each Prey Hunt, which determines the set of active affixes. The table below shows all available affixes.

The Prey system also introduces a series of achievements for defeating bosses on Hard and Nightmare difficulties. Each achievement rewards you with a unique housing decoration that serves as a trophy for your accomplishments.
