As we’ve used to, every WoW expansion offers cool perks with exclusive stuff if you preorder. Mounts, pets, quests to get cool transmogs or items — you name it. That is why many people are considering preordering the game and the same goes for Shadowlands. There are three pre-order options, Base, Heroic, and Epic, each carrying more exclusive content, respectively. 

Now, regarding mounts, there is one that you can get if you pre-purchase the Heroic or Epic version of the expansion. The mount is called Ensorcelled Everwyrm and is available for all non-Classic characters with Riding skill. 

Finally, let’s see where and how you can get this Shadowlands preorder mount.

Ensorcelled Everwyrm

This wormling mount resembles Kyrian style with all appropriate elements like golden armor and Anima glowing energy in a serpent-like shape. Ensorcelled Everwyrm radiates with nobility and that luminous feeling of the Light Kyrian Covenant has ingrained in itself. Moreover, it looks prestigious and fierce and is surely a mount that will draw attention and illuminate even the darkest corners of Shadowlands.

However, there are some fans who don’t quite like it and who were expecting a better design and looks. Anyhow, we find it kind of sleek and you cannot really neglect the awe it exudes. 

Additionally, if you plan on doing pet fights for achievements or simply enjoy them, you can use these abilities of Ensorcelled Everwyrm:

  1. Syphon Life
  2. Amplify magic
  3. Portal
  4. Gale / arcane storm
  5. Phase shift

Vestments of the Eternal Traveller transmog

This mount also has a deeper purpose than just looking cool, and that is using him to get a specific transmog. The transmog is called Vestments of the Eternal Traveller and is pretty fashionable. There are two ways to get this set:

  • By purchasing the Heroic or Epic edition of Shadowlands to get Ensorcelled Everwyrm which holds the key to unlocking the transmog quest
  • Without purchasing any special edition of Shadowlands, with a bit of resourcefulness.

First off, to acquire this transmog you will need to finish the quest called The Eternal Traveler. The biggest challenge here is to find the quest and this is where pre-ordered Hero or Epic versions come into play. Therefore, if you pre-order one of these two, you will get the Ensorcelled Everwyrm mount who is the key to activating the quest. In particular, you will need to use the Guiding Orb at the mount’s back. This will spawn Xolaritos, NPCs that will give the quest. 

However, you don’t need this mount yourself as a little bit of resourcefulness as we mentioned is required to activate the quest. Hence, start by searching for someone on your server who has the Ensorcelled Everwyrm and ask them to mount it. Now you will have the option to start the quest and get that shiny transmog.

Another option is to find a friend who already has this mount and to ask him to share The Eternal Traveler quest. This will eliminate the need to mount the Ensorcelled Everwyrm and will save some time and propel you right into the quest.

Completing the quest

The Eternal traveler quest doesn’t consider some over-complicated approach or grinding. You will need to collect Echoes of Mortalityx40 and it will take you around 2 hours. To do that, you need to start grinding and slaying mobs in Zandalar or the island of Kul Tiras who will drop the Echoes. Unfortunately, the drop rate is significantly low but we believe that won’t stop you from your quest. 

Once you hit 40 Echoes of Mortality the quest is instantly completed and you should be able to equip this transmog.

As we all know, there is always something intriguing and different in every new expansion, and the same goes for Shadowlands.
