WoW Trading Post October 2026: Rewards & What to Buy

The October 2026 Trading Post monthly reward is the Ensemble: Thorn Shadow Assassin's Attire, a green assassin set you claim by filling your Traveler's Log. Alongside it the month brings the Reins of the Bilebound Ur'zul mount for 700 Tenders, the returning Ghastly Charger, two pets, masks at 200 Tenders each and weapons around 125–130 Tenders.

How the Trading Post works

The Trading Post is an in-game shop selling cosmetics, mounts and pets for Trader's Tender, an account-wide currency, and its stock refreshes every month.

You earn Tender three ways: 500 automatically each month from the Collector's Cache chest, up to 500 more from monthly Traveler's Log activities, and occasionally from bundles on the in-game store.

The Traveler's Log sits in a tab of the Adventure Journal (Shift-J by default), and a bar at the top of your UI tracks progress — every 20% you fill deposits 100 Tender into your Collector's Cache, up to 100%.

Where to buy

The Trading Post has four active locations. The Silvermoon post is in the southeast of the Bazaar, on a balcony overlooking the Sanctum of Light and just south of the Delver's Headquarters, and the Alliance post sits just outside the Mage District in Stormwind, next to the Stockade entrance. A third post stands in the capital city of Dornogal, in The Foregrounds on the Isle of Dorn, where both Tawney and Wilder and the Zen'shiri Trading Post are open for business.

• Reins of the Bilebound Ur'zul: a recolour of the Shackled Özil, bought for 700 Tenders.
• Ghastly Charger: a returning skull mount, priced at roughly 700 Tenders.
• Ark Mage Familiar: a small cat-like pet.
• Watcher of the Huntress: a second pet added this month.

October 2026 armor transmog

• Ensemble: Thorn Shadow Assassin's Attire: the green monthly reward set, claimed free by filling the Traveler's Log.
• White and black assassin sets: recolours of the monthly reward, 700 Tenders each.
• Masks: sold as bundles covering every colour, 200 Tenders each, in Sun, Mogu, Witch, Sha and Abomination styles.
• Headless Horseman transmogs: the main set returns for 600 Tenders, with the two-handed sword, one-handed sword, shield and mounts also back.
• Boots and hats: dark iron sabatons and their white recolour, plus another Crown of Spring Flowers and far west hats.

October 2026 weapons

Weapons this month run between 80 and 260 Tenders each. They include the Crusader's Ender, the Initiate's Training Glaive, a katana, the Shadow Hunter's X-Blade — a one-handed sword — and a dagger. Further recoloured ninja transmogs cover the Artisan Sai, nunchaku, a two-handed Armageddon weapon, an over-katana, a back piece, a small ensemble, a wooden elven blade, quivers and bows.

The Trading Post outlet

The outlet vendors sold previous Trading Post rewards at a discounted price, including mounts, pets, toys, monthly rewards, random cosmetics, weapons and ensembles. They were available until the end of September, and the same items may not return for a long time — some sets were absent for almost two years before reappearing. If you had Tenders spare, the outlet was the cheapest way to pick up older rewards before the stock rotated.

Spending strategy: spend, freeze or skip

The monthly reward costs nothing beyond normal play, so claim the Thorn Shadow Assassin's Attire first. The white and black assassin recolours at 700 Tenders each are the biggest single purchases of the month, and the Reins of the Bilebound Ur'zul mount sits at the same price.

Masks at 200 Tenders and weapons at 80–260 Tenders are the cheap pickups, while the Headless Horseman main set at 600 Tenders is the priciest returning transmog. If you are saving, November's food-themed mounts and December's moose mounts and Krampus transmog are the next known additions, so holding Tenders back is a real option.
