Blizzard will change how some in-game points work. This happens with the Hour of Twilight update (Patch 4.4.2).

How Points Will Change
Conquest and Honor Points
- Conquest Points will turn into Honor Points.
- If you have more than 4000 Honor Points, extra points will turn into silver.
- Each extra Honor Point = 35 silver.
- Every week, the Honor cap increases by 4000.
Valor and Justice Points
- Valor Points will turn into Justice Points.
- If you have more than 4000 Justice Points, extra points will turn into gold.
- Each extra Justice Point = 47 silver.
- Every week, the Justice cap increases by 1600.
How to Earn Valor Points
From Bosses
- Any boss (except Madness of Deathwing) = 100 Valor Points.
- Madness of Deathwing = 200 Valor Points.
- Baradin Hold bosses:
- Argoloth or Occu’thar:
- 10-player mode = 35 Valor Points.
- 25-player mode = 45 Valor Points.
- Alizabal (after Dragon Soul raid) = 100 Valor Points (both modes).

From Dungeons
- Elemental Rune Dungeon: Protocol Twilight = 240 Valor Points.
- Elemental Rune Dungeon: Protocol Inferno = 240 Valor Points.
- Firelands bosses = No change in Valor Points.

In Cataclysm Classic, some in-game points will change on February 18. Conquest Points will turn into Honor Points. Valor Points will turn into Justice Points. If players have too many points, extra points will turn into silver or gold.
