Point Conversion Basics
This update comes with a currency swap:
- Conquest Points will become Honor Points. The WoW Cataclysm Honor system now has a twist: your Honor Points can temporarily exceed the cap of 4000, meaning you won’t lose a single point! Just remember to spend down if you go over 4000, or you won’t earn new points until you’re under the cap again.
- Valor Points are being converted to Justice Points. If you have more than the cap of 4000 Justice Points, any excess will be magically transformed into gold — at a rate of 47 silver per point, straight to your mailbox! So no matter what, you’re getting rewarded for your progress.

- Defeating a heroic boss in 10-player mode grants 35 Valor Points.
