Guardian Games Midway Update
We’re halfway through Guardian Games, and the competition is heating up! Titans are dominating with six days won, Hunters are trailing with three, and Warlocks… well, let’s just say there’s still time to turn things around. With a week and a half left, keep dunking those medals—especially those Diamond Medallions, they make a real difference.
If you haven’t snagged the AllStar Vector Skimmer, now’s the time. Complete the Drop In quest before the event ends. The fastest way? Hop into Rushdown and grind out 10 unique runs. Turning in high-value medals will also get you closer to the finish line.

While you’re at it, fine-tune your strategies for Standard and Expert modes to get better perk rolls on this year’s Guardian Games weapons. Kerauinos is a standout, especially with the Harsh Refraction perk. If you make it to the top 10% in Rushdown, you’ll also score an exclusive emblem.
And don’t forget to check out Eververse! This year’s new armor ornaments (plus some past favorites) are up for grabs with Silver or Bright Dust. Fizzled Games Mementos are dropping every time you dunk a medal—stock up while you can.
Collision Variant Test
A new Slow Capture variant of Collision is dropping into the Small Team Quickplay playlist on Tuesday. The rules are simple:
- Zones take longer to capture and rotate immediately after capping.
- Progress only counts while standing on the zone.
- First team to seven captures wins.
If players prefer this version over the current Fast Capture mode, Bungie may swap them permanently.
Competitive: Ascendant 0 Emblem
A new Ascendant 0 Competitive Emblem is available for those who reach the highest ranks. Winning matches at higher ranks will earn more points, and at 1000 points, the emblem is guaranteed. If you don’t get it this season, don’t worry—it’ll still be earnable in Frontiers, though you’ll have to climb back to Ascendant 0 to qualify.
Eververse Updates
Bungie is taking a fashion-first approach to some Eververse fixes:
- Warlock Class Item Glow: A new Bright Dust shader next season will let players remove bond glows intentionally.
- Stasis Drake Hunter Ornament: The hood-removal fix will be rolled back. A future version will allow hood toggling.
- Heart’s Pledge Titan Ornament: A new cloth-free version will be available at no extra cost.
- Holochips: Bungie is monitoring feedback to keep them stylish but not distracting in combat.
Grandmaster Nightfall Catch-Up
The Grandmaster Nightfall Catch-Up Node is now live! You can now start farming Wild Style Adept weapons and work toward gilding your Conqueror Title. Sunless Cell arrives with Act III, so now’s the time to prepare.
