WoW Forever Mounts: Confirmed Mounts and Sources

Confirmed wow forever mounts come from faction reputation vendors, class questlines, shop bundles, and the account-wide Legacy System. While several unique models and recolors appeared in beta data, Blizzard clarified that some datamined art assets are not intended for this release. Getting your ride still involves reaching level milestones, training riding skills, and completing long-term progression goals across Azeroth.

Shop and bundle mounts

Purchasing pre-release or special shop editions grants access to a few cosmetic mounts directly on your account:

• Cerulean Prideclaw: Included with the purchase of any World of Warcraft: Forever pack, including the Skyborne Heroic Pack, which costs $30.
• Veteran Adventurer's Loyal Companion: Available by purchasing the Skyborne Epic Pack or the Warcraft Forever Collection.

Legacy System mounts

Reaching progression milestones across multiple characters feeds into an account-wide track that yields cosmetic unlocks.

• Reins of the Spectral Bear: Awarded upon earning 55 Legacy Points on your account. Earning these points involves completing various Legacy Challenges across character levels, tradeskills, dungeons, raids, and PvP ranks.

The store and system mounts shift the acquisition effort away from raw creature hunting, but mounts do not eliminate expenses entirely; the up-front cost shifts toward riding training, a point some players note leaves riding at 100 gold and epic riding at 1,000 gold. To get the riding skill and a mount without the grind, a WoW Forever Mount Unlock Boost handles the riding training and core mount acquisition.

Reputation and vendor mounts

New reputation factions and trade hubs offer mounts for gold or special currency once you reach the appropriate standing. Genn Fairweather sells the Skyborne racial mounts, the Galestriders. Non-Skyborne characters must reach Exalted reputation with the faction to purchase them.

The Pack Kodo requires reaching Exalted with the trade factions Durotar Supply and Logistics and the Azeroth Commerce Authority in Redridge and the Barrens. Allowing both factions to secure this beast frustrates a few players who dislike the Alliance gaining a kodo mount.

Class quest mounts

Forsaken characters gaining access to the Paladin class receive their own thematic steeds through class-specific progression:

• Summon Warhorse: Obtained by completing the level 40 Forsaken Paladin mount questline.
• Summon Forsaken Charger: Unlocked through a dedicated epic Paladin class questline at level 60.

Players aiming to bypass the multi-step holy trials can rely on a WoW Forever Paladin Class Mounts Boost to complete the quest chain.

Datamined mounts and unknown sources

A selection of mounts appeared in game files without finalized vendor details or obtainment methods. The Venomhide Ravasaur is an Un'Goro Crater mount requiring a dedicated month-long daily quest grind for Horde characters. The Regal Galestrider and Swift Regal Galestrider remain tied to reputation entries, though without confirmed costs.

Other models listed in client data include recolors such as the Ochre Skeletal Warhorse, Dark Skeletal Horse, Green Skeletal Horse, Purple Skeletal Horse, Lavender Kodo, White Kodo, and the Reins of the Striped Dawnsaber. Multiple Devilsaur tints, Warden Sabers, and Druid Moose forms also surfaced in beta files. However, Blizzard cautioned players that a batch of datamined art assets found during the beta is not intended for this version of the game.

A broader debate surrounds how travel fits the vanilla feel, as the classic game lacks flying mounts altogether.

Pointless to have dragon mounts if there's no flying
