Gearhold follows the standard reward system for lairs: it offers a limited set of achievements and useful gear, but does not cover every equipment slot. If you want to collect the full range of rewards, we recommend combining our Gearhold Boosts with our Worldcore Services.
Below, you can explore the Gearhold rewards in more detail.
Like any other lair, Gearhold only offers achievements for defeating the boss on specific difficulties. You won’t get Ahead of the Curve or Cutting Edge here. Instead, there are three achievements, depending on the difficulty you choose:
These achievements are not seasonal, so you can still earn them after Patch 12.2.
Gearhold provides the same gear track rewards as the main seasonal raid, Worldcore:
Defeating Noctinaxx also counts toward your The Great Vault progress. This lair can help you meet the weekly boss kill requirements if you’re missing one kill. In addition, Normal and Heroic difficulties offer a gear choice one track higher, while completing Mythic difficulty rewards an item at a higher item level within the same track.
Choosing Epiccarry for your Gearhold run comes with several advantages:
Gearhold Boost is a set of services that helps you complete the Patch 12.2 lair. The Epiccarry team can clear this instance on your preferred difficulty and help you obtain raid-level rewards.
Yes, you can team up with Epiccarry boosters to defeat Noctinaxx on any difficulty. We will help you defeat the boss and obtain the raid gear you want.
Yes, Gearhold supports Flex mode on Mythic difficulty. You can choose a raid group of 15-25 players. Group size affects the total number of rewards available after you defeat the boss.
Gearhold has only one boss, Noctinaxx, so a run takes around one hour. Our experienced players will help you complete the lair as quickly as possible.
According to Blizzard's announcement, Gearhold is planned for early 2027. However, the exact release date has not been confirmed yet.
