WotLK The Defilers Reputation Boost

The Defilers are a Horde PvP faction with the goal of weakening Alliance forces in Arathi Basin in order to gain food and supplies for the Forsaken army. They are battling the League of Arathor in the Arathi Basin in an effort to regain the lost country of Arathi for their masters in the Undercity.

Building up your standing with this group will net you mounts, titles, and a variety of cosmetic rewards suitable for use in PvP. Also, one of the most prestigious PvP titles, “the Conqueror”, and the meta-achievement associated with it both require you to reach Exalted with the Defilers.

You can gain favor with the Defilers by engaging in battles on the Arathi Basin, a resource race battleground where your side must hold the Basin’s bases in order to grab its wealth, similarly to the “King of the Hill” or “Conquest” modes in other games. If your group is one of the first to amass 1,500 resources, you win. This is done by controlling access to relevant parts of the map (“Resource Nodes”). As long as their side holds the node, the commanding squad will receive a continual stream of resources. With each win, you can gain 100 reputation with the Defilers, and every 160 resources after that are worth 10 reputation.

Even while it’s not the hardest PvP reputation to earn, most players won’t dedicate as much time to a single rep goal as it takes to earn a Defilers reputation. From a reputation of 0, all the way up to Exalted is a long and difficult road that requires 42,000 reputation points. To complete this quest, you must win 420 matches in the Arathi Basin. Gaining full Defilers rep requires “just” 560 engagements in the Arathi Basin Battlegrounds if you have a 50% victory rate. That’s right, a dive into the Arathi Basin will take upwards of 233 hours, or more than three days of hard labor if you’re a farmer. Send in your preferred booster service now!
