Participating in fights on the Arathi Basin, a resource race battleground where your side must control the Basin’s bases in order to seize its riches, will raise your standing with the League of Arathor, much like “King of the Hill” or “Conquest” modes in other games. You win if your team is among the first to accumulate 1,500 resources. To achieve this, specific areas on the map are managed (“Resource Nodes”). The squad from the controlling side receives a steady supply of resources from the node so long as they maintain control of it. You can earn up to 750 reputation with the League of Arathor for each victory, as each 160 resources you collect is worth 10 reputation.

Although not the most difficult PvP reputation to gain, League of Arathor reputation still requires more time than most players are willing to invest in a single rep goal. To become Exalted from a starting reputation of zero requires a lot of hard work and the accumulation of 42,000 reputation points. This task requires you to win 420 matches in the Arathi Basin. If you’re lucky enough to have a 50% win record in the Arathi Basin Battlegrounds, then you “only” need to engage in 560 battles to get the maximum League of Arathor reputation. In other words, be ready to spend about 233 hours in the Arathi Basin, the equivalent of more than three days of constant farming. It’s time to call in your favorite booster service!
