Grand Ice Mammoth can be bought from Lillehoff NPC for a stunning price of 8000 gold once you reach Exalted reputation standing with Sons of Hodir. This is one of the first mounts to allow players to carry their friends around. It also grants the eponymous achievement but we all know that the main and the only reason to buy it is its size! The ability to troll other players by blocking important NPCs and mailboxes in populated areas is priceless! In our experience this joke never gets old and everyone loves it!

The downside is, you’ll have to farm rep with one of the harder factions, since Sons of Hodir have a lengthy introductory quest chain, many dailies that take place in Storm Peaks, which is an end-game zone, and most importantly, don’t have a tabard which means that you won’t be able to grind the rep with them in dungeons, but this problem can be circumvented by buying our WotLK Grand Ice Mammoth Boost.
