WotLK Swift Gray Steed Mount

Swift Gray Steed is one of the Argent Tournament mounts introduced in Classic Wrath with the release of patch 3.1. For a symbolic price of 500 gold and 5 Champion’s Seals you can become a proud owner of this beautiful mount if you meet one of the two conditions: you either have to be a Human or have an Exalted reputation with the Human capital, Stormwind City.

The Argent Tournament was introduced as a World Event in Wrath of the Lich King patch 3.1. In-game lore suggests that the Alliance and the Horde decided to hold the tournament so that their respective leaders could identify their forces’ strongest champions in preparation for an assault on Icecrown Citadel and the ultimate destruction of the Lich King. The tournament features a wide range of contests, each of which is befitting of a medieval joust. Champion’s Seals and reputation with various sub-factions of the Alliance or Horde are gained through completing these tasks, albeit the exact nature of the reputation gained is dependent on the NPC giving the mission.

Getting this mount is very easy if you’re a Human; other races will have a tough time identifying the quest chains they’ve abandoned back in WoW Classic and completing quests that are well below their level. This process can potentially take very long since it’s a lot of work for very little payout! Even if you feel motivated to grind your Stormwind Rep to Exalted now, that won’t last very long.
