To get the Waterlogged Axe in WoW Forever, collect it on the small river island south of Eastvale Logging Camp, where the water branches. Downstream is a level 10 quest you can accept from level 7.
Where to start Downstream
Accept the quest from Ormin Pelford in Elwynn Forest at approximately 76.4, 72.0 or 76.4, 71.8. You must retrieve the Waterlogged Saw, Waterlogged Axe, and Waterlogged Toolbox to complete his request.
Waterlogged Axe location and tool collection route
For your Downstream run, we'd collect the saw before heading to the axe and toolbox: the collection route follows the river south through those stops.
| Tool | Approximate coordinates | Landmark |
| Waterlogged Saw | 74.3, 76.3. | Beside a large rock and river vegetation near the bridge. |
| Waterlogged Axe | 76.7, 82.4 or 76.8, 82.4. | On the island at the river's fork. |
| Waterlogged Toolbox | 77.3, 86.9 or 77.0, 86.0. | At the wrecked boat; search underwater beside it. |
To reach the first stop, head southwest toward the bridge near Soldier Thomas. The toolbox stop is farther downstream along the Elwynn Forest–Duskwood border; watch your breath while searching below the surface. Murlocs and wolves inhabit the collection area.
Once you have all three tools, take them back to Ormin Pelford at the quest's starting location.

Waterlogged Axe item details

Optional nearby quest: Croaky’s Head
Croaky is a level 11 elite around 76.5, 86.0, near the southern part of the tool route. If you kill him, look for Croaky’s Head in his loot; using it starts a separate quest with a delivery to Ridgepoint Tower.
