What is the primary Skill Rotation when playing Flurry Rogue?
Focus on applying Vulnerable and then spreading it to everything around you:
- Start with Poison Imbuent;
- Place a Poison Trap;
- Puncture x3 to apply Vulnerable status effect;
- Flurry to spread that Vulnerability to everyone else in the vicinity and damage them at the same time;
- Dash to dodge incoming attacks and enemy’s AoE spells;
That’s it. Shadow Imbuement can also be quite fun in this rotation, however, if you want to be as deadly as possible – follow the list above. And don’t forget to keep Shadow Step in your ability bar to escape Crown Control abilities or quickly leave the fight.
What are the strengths and Weaknesses of a Flurry Rogue?
Pros:
- Demolishing hordes of trash mobs was never so satisfying and easy;
- Good at melting bosses (with a lot of dodging, though);
- A good set of abilities gives additional survivability and mobility;
- Skills are replaceable, with different types of Imbuements and Traps giving a slightly different (but still great) result;
Cons:
- Enemy armed with a ranged weapon is a problem now (remember those big-skeleton-ballista things? Yeah, they’re even a bigger nuisance now);
- Abilities are very important. Your Shadow Step or Dash is on recharge? Well, here you go dying (no doubt to a skeleton ballista);
- Damage is good, but not great;
