How to Get Into Dungeon?
Razorfen Downs (RFD) is located in the same general area as Razorfen Kraul (RFK) in the southern part of the Barrens, a zone in Kalimdor. While both instances are part of the Razorfen complex, RFD is situated to the north of RFK. If you’re facing Razorfen Kraul, Razorfen Downs would be found by traveling northward along the road that runs between the two instances.
For the Horde, the journey to RFD is a relatively short trek from the Crossroads, traveling southward through the desolation of the Barrens. Head south until you get to the Great Lift leading to the Thousand Needles. Right before the Lift, look for Razorfen Downs on the left side of the road. You’ll see it’s covered in spiky vines and there are angry quilboar guys hanging around.
For Alliance players, the trip is trickier. They usually start from Theramore and have to get through scary Horde areas to get to the dungeon. Inside, it’s all about fighting undead bad guys, ending with big fights against bosses like Tuten’kash, Mordresh Fire Eye, and the big boss, Amnennar the lich. Beating these bosses can get you some cool and strong loot that looks good and is really useful.
Are Razorfen Downs and Razorfen Kraul One and the Same Dungeon?
No. Razorfen Downs and Razorfen Kraul are two separate dungeons located in the southern part of the Barrens, but it’s easy to mix them up due to their similar names and proximity.
Razorfen Kraul is designed for players around levels 25-32, making it suitable for lower-level characters. RFD, on the other hand, caters to higher-level players, typically levels 34-41.
