WoW Forever Twitch Drops now award the Pouch of Violet Dust toy for watching four hours of eligible World of Warcraft streams. You can use it to turn your campfire violet and extend camp benefits for yourself and other players resting there.
When can you earn the toy?
The campaign began on November 4, 2026, at 4:30 pm PST and ends on November 12 at 4:30 pm PST. The German-time window is November 5 at 1:30 am through November 13 at 1:30 am.
| Camp benefits | Before activation | After activation |
| Duration for you and other players resting at the camp | 1 hour | 2 hours |
The Pouch has a 30-minute cooldown and is not consumed when you activate it. In client build 1.60.1.70790, it is a new Rare item absent from Classic Era, with item level 1, a level 1 requirement and binding on pickup; its use changes campfire flames and requires the WoW: Forever Launch Celebration.
How do you unlock and receive it?
Twitch viewers
- Account connection: Open Connections in your Battle.net account, choose Connect beside Twitch, then sign into Twitch to finish linking.
- Viewing progress: Watch a participating channel in Twitch's World of Warcraft category while Drops are enabled; switching between eligible channels preserves your progress, but simultaneous streams do not speed it up.
- Reward claim: Once you complete the viewing requirement, claim the reward through the stream's channel or Twitch's Drops Inventory.
- Delivery region: After claiming, make your first Battle.net login in the region where you want the toy, because that first region receives the reward.
- Delivery time: Allow up to 24 hours after your claim for the item to arrive in-game.
YouTube viewers
Connect Battle.net through YouTube's Connected Apps settings and watch the official World of Warcraft channel throughout the required viewing time. With the accounts connected during viewing, YouTube rewards arrive in-game automatically.
Players returning after account changes
A password change or another change to your Twitch or Battle.net account requires you to link the accounts again. Relinking starts a seven-day wait before you can connect a different Twitch account.
A claimed Twitch reward expires after seven days if you have not connected a Battle.net account. Linking before watching is the safer route because it removes that extra deadline from the process.
Which devices and regions qualify?
Rewards from WoW Forever Twitch Drops and YouTube can be earned and claimed on a PC or Mac browser, or via the Android or iOS app of either platform, but Drops are not available on console apps, smart TVs, or other TV apps.
| Platform | Participating regions |
| Twitch | Europe, Africa, the Middle East, North America, Latin America, Japan, Taiwan, Southeast Asia, Australia and New Zealand. |
| YouTube | All the regions listed for Twitch, plus Korea. |
You need a World of Warcraft subscription or game time, and the toy is exclusive to Forever rather than modern WoW or the Classic games.
Streamers offering the reward
To enable Drops for your channel, connect your Twitch and Battle.net accounts and opt into Drops through Twitch's streamer settings.
What happens to the toy in December?
Blizzard describes the reward as “ephemeral”: you can use it only during the launch celebration, which ends in early December. At that point, the toy will disappear from collections and cease to be available in-game.
Treat the viewing time as an investment in your launch play sessions rather than a permanent collection unlock.
