Cataclysm Classic has three PvP gear categories (at least if you simplify it; we’ll leave crafted PvP gear out of the question for now). Naturally, with each content update (or season), new sets are added, each with a higher item level than the previous one.

• The first and lowest category of PvP items are the gear pieces you can purchase with Honor points. Those are farmed in unrated battlegrounds and world PvP skirmishes when you fight with other players outdoors. Check out this guide on where to buy items with Honor points;
• The second category is the Normal Conquest gear of epic quality you buy with Conquest points. Those are farmed in Ranked Arena matches and Rated Battlegrounds (or RBGs);
• The third and highest category is the slightly changed Normal Conquest gear which is called Elite Conquest gear. Once you hit the 2200 score in Arena or RBG rating, which is quite a lot, you can finally get the Elite version of your Conquest gear. Here’s how you can earn those two achievements. Cataclysmically Superior requires you to have full 333 ilvl gear in each item slot, and Cataclysmically Epic requires ilvl 359 or higher, and that’s all the difference between them. If you achieve Cataclysmically Epic, you’re guaranteed to achieve Cataclysmically Superior at the same time.

With the additional off-set Conquest gear option chosen, you’ll get 16 to 17 items total (or 17 to 18 if your class has a Relic slot) of at least 365 ilvl (higher if it’s Season 10 or 11), which is guaranteed Cataclysmically Superior and Cataclysmically Epic.

Here’s a small life hack: you don’t actually need two trinkets and two rings to get these achievements—you only need one from each category. Simply swap a trinket and a ring between the two gear slots where they belong, and all the respective boxes in the achievement list will be ticked.

The additional option to add extra off-set items along with the default gear sets is present there because we want to give our customers more options with how they approach this service. Not everyone needs a full 16 to 18 PvP item roster for their characters, which is why we added more flexibility to this service.

The main difference between PvE gear and PvP gear is the stat called resilience. Only PvP has it, and it is responsible for reducing damage other players deal to you.
