The Severed Threads is one of the four big groups you can make friends with in The War Within expansion. This guide will help you learn how to get Renown (friend points) with the Severed Threads and what cool stuff you can get from them.

What Are the Severed Threads?

The Severed Threads is a group of important people who don’t like the boss, Queen Ansurek. They work secretly to make her lose power.

There are three leaders in the Severed Threads:

• The General (Anub’azal): A strong army leader who wants his power back.
• The Vizier (Executor Nizrek): The Queen’s helper who secretly plans against her.
• The Weaver (Widow Arak’nai): A clever spy who watches everything closely.

You earn points with these leaders. When you get enough points with one leader, you also get 1 Renown with the whole Severed Threads group.

How to Get Renown Severed Threads?

You can earn Renown by doing different things in Azj-Kahet:

• Completing special tasks (World Quests).
• Fighting and beating rare bad guys.
• Finishing story quests.
• Making a pact (an agreement) with one of the leaders and doing their weekly tasks.

Important: You need 2500 Reputation points to get 1 Rank with each Severed Threads leader. Each Rank gives you 1 Renown with the Severed Threads.

Severed Threads Pacts

Each week, you can choose to work with one of the three leaders. This is called making a pact. You can only make one pact per week, and it counts for all your characters. After you choose a pact, special tasks will appear that help you earn points with the leader you picked.

• The Vizier: Hand of the Vizier.
• The Weaver: Eyes of the Weaver.

6	All That Glitters II: You can buy an ilvl571 Adventurer Trinket from Lady Vinazian.
7	Weathered Harbinger Crests: Get 15 crests to upgrade your gear.
8	Bazaar of Wonders: Trade 800 Resonance Crystals for 100 Kej with Ka’muko.
9	Earth-Encrusted Gem: Get a gem for a special outfit from Osidion in Dornogal.
10	Tabard of the Severed Threads: Receive a special tabard.
11	All That Glitters III: Buy an ilvl584 Veteran Trinket from Lady Vinazian.
12	Carved Harbinger Crests: Get 15 crests to upgrade your gear.
13	Restored Coffer Key: Get a key to open a treasure in Bountiful Delves.
14	Cornering the Market: Trade 400 Resonance Crystals for 100 Kej with Ka’muko.
15	Jumping Through Hoops: Buy a special pet named Jump from Lady Vinazian.
16	Thread-Bearer’s Pauldrons: Buy special shoulder armor from Lady Vinazian.
17	Spinning: Get a toy that turns you into a spider.
18	Carved Harbinger Crests: Get 15 more crests to upgrade your gear.
