First things first, to unlock the Trove of the Treasure King scenario, you need to get to the Isle of Thunder. Be at least level 50 and start the quest chain with Thunder Calls (Alliance or Horde). Keep at it until you unlock the Dailies.

Every day, when you complete the Aid the Kirin Tor Offensive or Aid the Sunreavers Onslaught quest, you’ll get a Key to the Palace of Lei Shen. This key is your ticket into the Trove of the Treasure King scenario. You can get one key per day, so even if you don’t do the scenario daily, you can save up the keys for later.

Step	Description
Level Requirement	Be at least level 50.
Quest Chain	Start with Thunder Calls (Alliance or Horde).
Unlock Dailies	Complete the quest chain to unlock Dailies on the Isle of Thunder.

Completing the Scenario

Enter the scenario as many times as you have keys. If you have the quest A Fresh Scene, finishing the Trove of the Thunder King counts as a scenario too.

Step	Description
Entry	Use your Key to enter the scenario.
Objective	Loot as many chests as possible in 5 minutes.
Bonus Keys	Each chest has a chance to drop a Burial Trove Key for bonus chests.
Extra Key	Reach the exit in time to get an extra Burial Trove Key.

The goal here is to loot as many chests as you can before the 5-minute timer runs out and then get to the exit. Each chest has a chance to drop a Burial Trove Key, which lets you open bonus chests at the end. Make it to the exit in 5 minutes, and you get an extra Burial Trove Key.

Rooms and Locked Doors

There are 4 main rooms with 3 locked doors between them. To open the locked doors, pull a lever.

Between Room 1 and 2, and Room 2 and 3, there are small hallways with some chests on the sides.

Chests and Boss

There are two types of chests: small ones with red markings and larger brown ones. The larger chests show up more in later rooms, have more loot, and can contain Spools.

At the end of the scenario, there’s a small “boss” with a large chest. This boss drops threads, loot, and guards 1-3 more large chests. Aim to reach this boss every time!

General Strategy

With only 5 minutes on the clock, you need to hustle. Here’s a quick walkthrough:

Room	Strategy
Room 1	Skip. Use green runes to speed through, pull the lever, and head to Room 2.
Room 2	Loot all or focus on large chests, then pull the lever to Room 3.
Room 3	Almost nothing here, pull the lever on the left, move to the final room.
Room 4	Go straight for the boss, kill, loot, and grab nearby chests.
Hallways	Skip side chests at first, use speed abilities once comfortable.
Bonus Chests	Don’t forget to open them at the end.

A full run can get you around 1,000 Bronze and a good amount of Spools. Don’t forget those bonus chests at the end! You can also get Shan’ze Ritual Stones from this scenario, which can be used to summon rares for more Threads and Bronze.
