What extraction points are available on the Ground Zero map?

There are five in total, each offering a unique way back to your cozy hideout:

  1. Emercom Checkpoint: available for all factions, which also means the most crowded one. Stay on your toes when waiting for the extraction and make sure to secure the location first;
  2. Mira Avenue: available only for PMC and requires either Handheld RSP-30 green flare
    or Signal pistol fired 26x75mm green flare. If you don’t have one, then make sure to check one of the Scav bodies in the area, there’s a good chance to find one green flare. Also, make sure to shoot it high enough or extraction won’t start;
  3. Nakatani Basement Stairs: available for all factions and located in the basement of Nakatani building;
  4. Police Cordon V-Ex: Available only for the PMC faction and is costly – 5,000 rubles for a ticket out of the hot zone. Price can vary depending on your Scav reputation. Guarded by a couple of nasty snipers by the vehicle;
  5. Scav Checkpoint: available for Scav-aligned players only.

Anything I need to know before entering the Ground Zero raid?

Ground Zero might be a little different from the last raid you’ve played. For starters, GZ has an unusually compact map. Players navigate through narrow streets, surrounded by skyscrapers of one great city center. Verticality is GZ’s true power, with an extensive underground complex being hidden under the map. It’s as big as the city center itself, and you’ll make your raid run much easier by spending some time studying all the possible strategies to cover as much territory as possible.

Any keys I should grab before entering the Ground Zero raid?

We do recommend not to try and cover the entire thing on your first run. Progress gradually! Make sure your hideout upgrades are installed and the PMC level is high enough before venturing in and then split your desired list of rewards into several raid runs. You should grab the following keys to grab as many valuable items littering Ground Zero’s map as possible:

  1. TerraGroup science office key – opens office number 4 at the TerraGroup HQ. Rewards inside include x4 PC Blocks, x4 Drawers, and some provisions. If some PC scrap is what you’ve been looking for to get them a hideout upgrade, then this room is supposed to be on your to-visit list;
  2. Underground parking utility room key – opens a corresponding room in the underground parking lot. Contains a couple of weapon boxes, a grenade box, a dead Scav, and a toolbox. Secure this room for a great and fast way to enhance your loadout and subsequently your gaming experience;
  3. Unity Credit Bank registry key – unlocked the registry located in the city’s bank. Contains a locked safe with rare valuables inside.
