- Cascade Point: Final blows or sustained precision hits with another weapon temporarily increase that weapon’s rate of fire.
- Sword Logic: Final blows with this weapon grant bonus damage. The strength and duration of the bonus increase when more powerful targets are defeated.
- Bait and Switch: Deal damage with all equipped weapons quickly to give this weapon a 35% damage boost for 10 seconds.
- Target Lock: Damage increases the longer this weapon remains on a target. Reaches maximum damage increase at 5 stacks (from 16.73% to 40%).
The origin trait of Song of Ir Yut is Cursed Thrall: After defeating a target with a melee attack, final blows with this weapon cause targets to explode for a short time.
How do you level up the Deepsight Song of Ir Yut?
To power up the Deepsight version of Song of Ir Yut, you have to defeat enemies with the gun. Killing enemies with the weapon equipped also boosts its level. Once you get to level 16 or 17, you can insert any Enhanced Perks you prefer to improve its function. At level 20, you’ll receive a small stat boost to all of the weapon’s stats.

How does the Song of Ir Yût differ from the Adept version?
The Adept weapon is way better than the normal version. They have special mods that make them tier. When you upgrade to the adept versions, they get higher masterwork stats. The mods give +10 to a stat, which doesn’t sound like much, but they actually make a big difference, and so if you manage to get one of those Adept guns, it’ll be way stronger in Crucible.
