The Garrison invasion mount can drop from Invader’s Forgotten Treasure, Routed Invader’s Crate of Spoils, or any Master and Commander garrison bosses. To increase your chances of obtaining the mount, you will need to trigger an invasion and earn 1300 points (Platinum) to receive two bags that each have a chance of dropping the mounts.
To trigger an invasion, you must purchase a Scouting Missive item from Sergeant Crowler (Alliance) or Sergeant Grimjaw (Horde). We recommend using the Scouting Missive: The Pit as it is the quickest and easiest mission. To complete the mission, you must go to Gorgrond and kill the iron horde around the Black Foundry entrance (coordinates: 50, 27).
Once you have completed the mission, return to your Garrison and turn in the quest to Sergeant Crowler or Sergeant Grimjaw. They should offer you the Garrison Invasion! Quest, which you can accept to start the invasion. During the invasion, getting Platinum should be easy as everything is one-shotted. Use area-of-effect attacks to finish off the mobs quickly. You will see a score counter to keep track of your progress. Even if you do not reach 1300 points before the timer runs out, two more phases award points. After defeating the last boss, you will receive the two bags, and each has a chance to drop the mount.
Drop Rate
The drop rate for any Garrison invasion mount is relatively low at around 1%. The good news is that two bags can drop the mounts, and both can drop more than one mount. However, for this to happen, you need to be extremely lucky. Most players do around 30-40 invasions and have not seen a single mount drop.
According to Wowhead statistics, about 10-11% of players with profiles achieved the desired result; you can become a cool owner of four very rare mounts thanks to Epiccarry.
