The Goldplate Bufonid is a unique and exotic mount that can be crafted using Protoform Synthesis with the help of Schematic: Goldplate Bufonid. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to get the Goldplate Bufonid mount in World of Warcraft.

Step 1: Unlock the Protoform Synthesis Forge

Before you can craft mounts using the Protoform Synthesis Forge, you must unlock it first. To unlock it, you must complete the first three chapters of the Secrets of the First Ones campaign. Once you have completed those chapters, research Sopranian Understanding at the cypher console in Exile’s Hollow. After completing the questline starting at Finding Tahli, you can start The Lost Component, which leads to unlocking Protoform Synthesis (Mount).

Step 2: Find the Schematic: Goldplate Bufonid

Once you have unlocked the Protoform Synthesis Forge, you can begin the search for the Schematic: Goldplate Bufonid. You can obtain this schematic by looting Accelerated Bufonid in the Zereth Mortis zone. Once you have found the schematic, deliver it to the forge to begin crafting.

Step 3: Collect the Materials

To craft the Goldplate Bufonid mount, you will need three materials:

• 400 Genesis Mote can be obtained by killing any animal-like beings in Zereth Mortis.
• 1 Bufonid Lattice can be looted from any Bufonid creature in Zereth Mortis. Elites and Rares have a higher drop chance.
• 1 Bauble of Pure Innovation, found inside the Exile’s Hollow cave on Qie‘s bed at 34.5/49.7.

Step 4: Craft the Goldplate Bufonid

Once you have collected all three materials, you can use the Protoform Synthesis Forge to craft the Goldplate Bufonid mount. Simply interact with the forge and select the schematic to begin crafting.
