Vessel of Hatred is a new expansion that introduces a completely new stage of the Diablo IV lifecycle. The new story will revolve around Neyrelle, who has escaped the main cast after the end of the original game with a powerful Soulstone in her possession. Neyrelle, being incredibly naive, expected to face Mephisto head-on, sparing others of his malevolent influence. Things obviously didn’t go as expected, and fixing the ongoing catastrophe is exactly what you’ll be doing in the new Vessel of Hatred DLC.
Exciting New Chapter offers a lot of great features besides the Vessel of Hatred Campaign, including some significant overhauls of already existing systems and some completely new challenges:
- Level Cap Reduction from 100 to 60: Blizzard’s attempt to prevent the power creep and give players a new incentive to level their characters;
- New Difficulty System: Vessel of Hatred scraps the difficulty system that existed from the release of the game and replaces it with a completely new one featuring four standard levels: Normal, Hard, Expert, and Penitent, as well as 4 tiers of Torment difficulties for those looking for an additional challenge;
- Realm-Wide Paragon Levels: the Paragon system is also being completely reworked, making Paragon Points shared across all realm characters and the new cap being set at 300;
- Item Quality Rework: no more Sacred items, only Ancestral ones remain, available only at Tornment difficulty, ensuring that players must show their true abilities before getting powerful and rare loot;
- New Class Skills and Passives: you’ll need to explore skill maps once again to prepare your build for the battle – new passive and active skills are being added to the game;
- Nahantu Region: Diablo II’s iconic region makes its return in the Vessel of Hatred Campaign and promises to tie the stories of previous games together with the new Vessel of Hatred Campaign;
- …and so much more!

Frequently Asked Questions
What group-based content is being introduced in Vessel of Hatred Expansion?
The New Vessel of Hatred Campaign is not the only thing introduced with the new DLC. A whole plethora of great group-based content is also making an appearance, and it's backed up by one state-of-the-art group-finding system that will simplify access to the best things DLC has to offer:
- Dark Citadel:
- A multiplayer-only raid designed to keep you entertained after the Vessel of Hatred Campaign completion. Tackle challenging encounters together with your gaming buddies;
- Kurast Undercity:
- A new time-limited dungeon with an integrated difficulty progression system that will adjust the more you play;
- Mercenary System:
- An upgraded version of Diablo III's followers is very unexpectedly back and offers powerful NPCs to help you pass group-based content after you complete the campaign.
New features will certainly give Diablo a new life, but will also require some additional time to get into. Our Vessel of Hatred Boost service is designed specifically to help you with all the content after you're done with the story.
How long is the Vessel of Hatred Campaign?
While the exact time is very dependent on your play style and a general desire to play Diablo for the story, the approximate length of the new Campaign is close to 6 hours. Our Campaign Boost Services will save you these 6 hours, though.
What are the key features of the new Nahantu region?
New DLC's campaign will mainly take place in Nahantu - a jungle and canyon-ridden region introduced all the way back in the second act of Diablo II. This story-driven area will introduce numerous new Strongholds and Dungeons, a couple of new monster families, special event areas, and another Waypoint-ridden map for you to conquer! The latter is much easier with our Diablo Boosting Services! We'll carry you through the entire DLC, obtaining tons of rewards and Ancestral gear along the way.
