Starstone Barrows Boost
This service may take longer than advertised due to the low population.
Due to the low server population across the board, finding parties for group activities proves more and more difficult. Therefore, some activities that require multiple players to be completed may take longer than advertised below.
Similar to dungeons in other MMOs, expeditions in New World are group PvE activities designed for 3-5 players. Starstone Barrows expedition is located near the Amrine Temple and Excavation. It is found southeast of Everfall and is meant for a 5-man group of level 35+ players. In order to access Starstone Barrows, one of your group members has to use a Starstone Tuning Orb at the entrance. Luckily, you can get one as a part of the questline you get in Everfall Village.
Even though it says that a minimum number of players is 3, you really want to bring a full party of 5 that includes a healer, a tank with a dedicated taunt to make things a lot easier. Compared to Amrine Excavation the difficulty went way up: the mobs are very threatening, it involves a bit of platforming and bosses are likely to wipe your party once or twice before you get the hang of it. Greundgul the Regent is the final boss of this expedition. He is highly resistant to Slash and Fire damage and vulnerable to Strike, Lightning, and Void damage. Buying the Starstone Barrows boost is a perfect way to boost your level and loot some powerful blue gear.

You need to own enough Starstone Tuning Orbs for every run you select. Please select the “I don’t have Starstone Tuning Orb” if you don’t have enough.
You need to own Azoth Staff to complete the expedition.
How do I craft the Starstone Tuning Orb in New World?
Crafting a Starstone Tuning Orb requires Stonecutting Lv. 50 and a Stonecutting Table Tier 3, and the following reagents:
- Corrupted Fragment – x10;
- 1x Steel Chisel – can be bought at Faction vendor;
- Stone Bricks – x50;
- Elemental Heart – x1.
Where is the entrance into the New World Starstone Barrows Expedition?
Starstone Barrows are located in the Everfall territory, an area meant for level 1-25 players, near the Everfall settlement. Just exit the town from the South gate, follow the road and look for a Shattered Obelisk landmark. You will find the entrance in the expedition beneath this giant obelisk.
