 How to get the Ivory Cloud Serpent Mount

To obtain the Ivory Cloud Serpent mount, you must use the Zan-Tien Lasso on the Ivory Cloud Serpent in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to get this mount.

Acquire the Zan-Tien Lasso:

The Zan-Tien Lasso is a rare drop from any Mogu in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. The highest drop chance for the lasso is from a Zan-Tien named mob. The lasso can also be obtained from the Spirit Reliquary that spawns during a Mogu Invasion.

Find the Ivory Cloud Serpent:

Once you have the Zan-Tien Lasso, you must find the Ivory Cloud Serpent. It spawns above the Zan-Tien camp in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms at roughly 27,56 coordinates. As soon as it spawns, it starts flying at high speeds, following a route above the Mogu’shan Palace and the Golden Stairs. It completes the full route once and then continues on the route until it despawns between the two points.

Catch the Ivory Cloud Serpent:

To catch the Ivory Cloud Serpent, you need to use the Zan-Tien Lasso on it while it’s flying. The mount can be caught while you are on your flying mount currently, so parking your character at the spawn spot would be your best bet.

Respawn time:

The respawn time for the Ivory Cloud Serpent is between 1-2 hours. So, if you miss it, you’ll need to wait for it to spawn again.

Mogu Invasions:

Only during a Mogu Invasion is there a chance for the Zan-Tien Lasso to drop and the Ivory Cloud Serpent to spawn. So, watch for Mogu Invasions and farm the mobs to your chances of obtaining the lasso and the mount.
