How does the conquest points system work?

Conquest points can be obtained by winning in rated PvP activities; you won’t get them for defeat, instead you will be given Honor points. You can also get a small amount of Conquest points for the day’s first victory in other PvP activities.

Why are conquest points needed?

In World of Warcraft Midnight Conquest points are needed to purchase top rated pvp gear with 289 PvP ilvl. You can find the necessary vendors in Silvermoon City. Irissa Bloodstar will sell you any Conquest item.

How much conquest can you earn in a week?

The number of Conquest Points you can receive is limited by the conquest cap. At the beginning of the season, the conquest cap is 1350 points and grows by 550 points weekly. You can collect at least the entire cap in one week, but you will not be able to gain more and will have to wait for the next week. After some time has passed, the cap is removed.

How many Conquest points do you need to buy a full Conquest gear?

The price of a Conquest item depends on its slot. Below, you can see the price for all types of armor and weapons in WoW The War Within Season 1:

  • Two-Hand weapons cost 1800 Conquest.
  • One-Hand weapons cost 900-1,350 Conquest.
  • Helm, Chest, and Legs cost 875 Conquest.
  • Shoulders, Gloves, and Feet cost 700 Conquest.
  • Trinkets (Gladiator/DPS) cost 525/700 Conquest.
  • Cloaks, Bracers, Rings, and Belt cost 500 Conquest.
  • Off-Hands cost 450 Conquest.

Thus, the approximate cost of complete Conquest equipment is 10,850 Conquest points. However, it is worth considering, characters often also take crafted items and a Tier set, so you must spend fewer Conquest points to get BiS gear.

Which Conquest item is better to buy first?

It is better to start purchasing Conquest gear with an item that will give you more primary stats. Thus, the best choice would be a Chest, Legs, Helm, or Two-Hand weapon. For characters whose primary stat is intellect, Staff will give the maximum profit.

Can you exchange conquest for honor?

Conquest points that you did not manage to spend during the season are automatically converted into Honor points. It is worth remembering that even though there is no cap for conquest at the end of the PvP season, the Honor cap is only 4000. Conquest points not fitting into this amount during conversion will be irretrievably lost.

Can you get Conquest points for Solo Shuffle?

Conquest points can be obtained for winning 3 or more rounds of the Solo Shuffle. If someone leaves the Solo Shuffle, no players will receive Conquest points, regardless of the number of rounds won.
