In order to obtain any schematics for the Protoform Synthesis Forge, you need to unlock it first. To do this, complete the first three chapters of the Secrets of the First Ones campaign. Next, research Sopranian Understanding at the cypher console in Exile’s Hollow. Finally, complete the questline starting at Finding Tahli. Once completed, the next day you can start The Lost Component, which leads to unlocking the Protoform Synthesis station.

Obtain the schematic for Curious Crystalsniffer

The schematic for Curious Crystalsniffer is located in the Halondrus boss encounter area in Sepulcher. You will need to join a group, defeat the boss, and then run back to the second phase’s room to loot the pattern. Keep in mind that the pattern won’t spawn until you kill the boss.

Gather the required materials

To craft the mount, you will need to gather the following materials:

Genesis Mote (400): This item can drop from almost any activity in Zereth Mortis.
Crystallized Echo of the First Song: This item can be obtained from a Crystallized Echo of the First Song chest, which can be found near waterfalls in the Sepulcher of the First Ones area.
