Path of Exile 2 promises to become the next big thing in a long line-up of Diablo-like genre: 12 classes and 19 ascendancy classes to try out, four new weapon types, an overhaul of an entire skill gems overhaul, dual specialization, combat enhancements, and whole new history period of Wraeclast to explore. The one important thing still remains unchanged, though – PoE currency makes its return, including Divine, Chaos, and Exalted Orbs. Gold is also being introduced in this new iteration, to spice up the reward system and provide players with even more incentives to play and farm mobs.
And to fully enjoy everything PoE 2 has to offer, you’ll need heaps and heaps of currency items. Even the most necessary-for-playing high-level content things such as resetting a character’s passive skill tree, changing the random affix of a gear piece, randomizing items’ modifiers, and so on are locked behind quite unpleasant price tags. So what currency do you need to defeat all the end-game bosses and breeze through all the game modes? Let’s take a look:
- Gold: one of Path of Exile 2’s primary currency items that won’t completely change the way you approach the end game, but will make the leveling significantly easier. Used for trading with NPC vendors and performing various technical actions such as reallocating passive and active points, which is crucial in the game that has such an extensive build variety;
- Chaos Orbs: out of all PoE currency making its return in Path of Exile 2, Chaos Orb is arguably the most important one. Chaos orb can replace your rare items’ random modifier with another random modifier, allowing for an endless array of possibilities and tactics when approaching end-game bosses…considering that you have enough currency, that is. Chaos Orb is an extremely rare currency item and will run you through the loops for days before finally dropping;
- Divine Orbs: another returning Path of Exile currency item crucial for succeeding in the end game. Divine Orb allows you to change the value of magic, rare, or unique items without changing the tier of the modifier, meaning fitting a particular item to your specific needs. Divine Orb gives you unmatched freedom when approaching class-building, but, at the same time, is also quite rare;
- Exalted Orbs: PoE Exalted Orb is also expected to return in Path of Exile 2. Exalted Orbs add an element of healthy randomness in the class-building process, allowing you yoy to completely reroll modifiers on your magic, unique, or rare item. You guessed it – it’s still as rare as every other orb in the game and will require you to farm and grind extensively before actually acquiring it;
- Chromatic Orbs: while not as prominent as Chaos Orbs or Divine Orbs, Chromatic Orb is still a very rare item crucial when optimizing your end-game build. Chromatic Orb allows you to change the color of your gears’ sockets, allowing you to achieve a perfect gem-link combination and conquer everything Path of Exile 2 throws at you!
- Mirror of Kalandra: last but not least, Mirror of Kalandra makes its return in Path of Exile 2. This increasingly rare item allows you to create a carbon copy of any non-unique item, meaning that you can have not one rare item with meta affixes and great stats, but two! Mirror of Kalandra is a crucial component of Path of Exile 2’s trading system and will help your hero reach unbelievable heights in both trading for Divine, Chaos, and Exalted Orbs, as well as dealing with end-game content.
The general consensus of the PoE currency system is “yeah, it’s incredibly useful, but you’ll spend months looking for it”, which is not the worst approach when dealing with implementing trading currency, but also one very far from being comforting. Path of Exile 2 promises to make improvements to the original Path of Exile currency, but before we know for certain, why not use a reliable and safe PoE 2 currency service to make your gaming experience much less about currency grind, and much more about actually having fun! Buy Path of Exile 2 Currency from EpicCarry and enjoy instant delivery, market value prices, absolute safety, and 24/7 support. Just what you need when rolling in the new Path of Exile 2!
Path of Exile 2 Gold Boosting Service
The original Path of Exile currency system is being watered down a bit in a new title, adding your favorite and painfully familiar trading merit – Gold! Grinding Gear Games, the developers of Path of Exile 1 and 2, do have a refreshing take on it, though. Gold in Path of Exile 2 plays a very trivial role, with Chaos Orbs, Divine Orbs, and Exalted Orbs still being the primary currencies. Gold serves the following purposes in Path of Exile 2:
- Consolation: farming dozens and dozens of Unique monsters, smashing every poor barrel on your path, and hunting for every chest on the map for days on end without receiving a single Divine Orb, Chaos Orb, Exalted Orb, or Chromatic Orb do wonders to your psyche. Bad kind of wonders. Path of Exile 2 currency’s drop chances are governed by nothing more than simple RNG, meaning that if you’re not lucky enough to hit that 0.01% drop rate, then you’ll have absolutely nothing to show for all your effort. Gold is that low-value, but always-guaranteed reward that you get from doing almost anything, so the logic behind the entire idea is to make currency items farm at least a little bit less painful;
- Eases up the leveling process: quite some in-game time will pass before you’ll start looting Unique gear pieces, weapons, and other high-value items to maximize your Exile’s potential. Before hitting that sweet end-game mode, however, you’ll have to make do with normal items dropped from monsters and quests, as well as with the limited stock that NPC vendors have. Also don’t forget that amazing process of constant experimentation when figuring out the perfect combination of passive and active skills to maximize your potential. For all that you’ll need Gold. Tons of it, in fact. Having enough currency in your pocket to purchase not one passive skill refund point, however, makes leveling an absolute breeze;
- Pays for basic consumables and support gems: kinda related to the second point, but still important enough to be mentioned. With normal items slotted in every gear slot you have, your Exile will have to rely heavily on consumables and support gems. Which are, you guessed it, are purchasable from NPC vendors for Gold!
At EpicCarry we know that the beginning of your Exile’s journey is always the hardest, which is why our Path of Exile 2 Gold Farm Service is here to provide you with as many little round pieces of happiness as you need, allowing you to fly through the starting content in a matter of days!
Path of Exile 2 Chaos Orbs Boosting Service
Original PoE Currency value carries over well in Path of Exile 2, with Chaos Orb being one of the most valuable in-game items. While crucial for build optimizing and end-game content, Chaos Orb is, however, extremely rare and almost impossible to obtain without an extensive grind.
Chaos Orb is used to change your item’s modifiers all the while keeping the same tier of said modifier. For example, if you have a rare sword that originally has modifiers like “Increased Physical Damage” and “Adds Cold Damage,” using a Chaos Orb might change those to “Increased Attack Speed” and “Adds Fire Damage.” However, the RNG-induced nature of affixes means that you’ll take many attempts before obtaining the modifiers you desire. There’s even a name for the entire process – Chaos Spamming, and yes, it does eat through your Chaos Orb reserves in a matter of minutes.
Would to reroll your item’s modifiers to get a completely new and empowered version of the same gear you’ve been wearing for quite some time? Care to make the most of your build’s DPS? Want to fly through the end-game content and all the challenges Path of Exile 2 has to offer without worrying about the grind and tedious farm? Our Path of Exile 2 Chaos Orb Boosting Service is exactly what you need, then. Instant Delivery and trusty traders supplying us with cheap PoE currency since the original game’s release are guaranteed!
Path of Exile 2 Divine Orbs Boosting Service
Out of all PoE Orbs, Divine Orb is one of the most prominent ones, standing right there beside Chaos Orb and Exalted Orb in terms of rarity. Divine Orb is one and only of all available currency items that allows you to re-roll numeric values of your item’s modifiers without actually changing the modifiers themselves.
For example, imagine you’ve found a great chest piece that you’ve been looking for quite a while. Great news! But here’s the problem:
- +50 to maximum life;
- +20% increased armor;
- +8% to Critical Hit Chance.
Your Duelist doesn’t really care about HP and Armor increase – maximizing critical damage is the only priority you have at the moment. So you take a bunch of Divine Orbs, use it on your chest piece, and see the magic happen! Now your item’s stats look like this:
- +35 to maximum life;
- +29% increased armor;
- +2% to Critical Hit Chance.
So you take another Divine Orb and use it. And then another one. And another one. And then you’re out of Divine Orbs, with your chest piece’s stats being effectively reversed back to the very first iteration just because RNG is not on your side today. Or, ideally, you do everything just right and land yourself a nice +20% increase to Critical Hit Chance.
The moral of this entire story is that you won’t just manage with one Divine Orb in your inventory – whole heaps and heaps of them are required to get anywhere in Path of Exile 2. You might never even try to reroll the values of your gear’s modifiers when doing a standard league run, but on challenge leagues, it’s crucial not to succeed, but to survive.
Our Path of Exile 2 Divine Orb Farm Service is right there for you, always ready to assist your Exile in flying through the Latest League with every one of the seven classes (don’t forget the new ones introduced in Path of Exile 2). Buy Divine Orbs from EpicCarry for Instant Delivery, great offers, and the cheapest PoE Currency on the market!
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I still obtain Chaos Orb or Divine Orb through the vendor recipes in Path of Exile 2? Are other currencies obtainable through NPCs?
In the original PoE, currency was easily obtained through vendor recipes - a reliable method of receiving one or two Chaos Orbs. Just craft or obtain a whole set of rare items and trade them to the NPC vendor for your guaranteed Chaos Orb. Make that two if items are unidentified. This method is still viable, but only for some types of PoE 2 Currency:
- To receive one Chaos Orb from the NPC vendor, trade the following 60-74 level rare gear pieces:
- 1 Amulet;
- 2 Rings;
- 1 Belt;
- 1 Helmet;
- 1 Body Armour;
- 1 Pair of Gloves;
- 1 Pair of Boots;
- 1 Two-Handed Weapon OR 2 One-Handed Weapons;
- Note: If all items are identified you'll receive one Chaos Orb after a transaction is complete. If all items are unidentified, then that's two Chaos Orbs;
- To receive a Divine Orb from the NPC vendor, you must complete the transaction with the following items and currencies:
- 20 Chaos Orbs;
- 1 Vaal Orb;
- 1 Regal Orb;
- To receive an Exalted Orb from the NPC vendor, trade the following currency items:
- 1 Vall Orb;
- 1 Divine Orb;
- To receive a Regal Orb from the NPC vendor, place the following 75 - 100 level rare gear pieces in the trade window:
- 1 Amulet;
- 2 Rings;
- 1 Belt;
- 1 Helmet;
- 1 Body Armour;
- 1 Pair of Gloves;
- 1 Pair of Boots;
- Note: if all items you've placed in the trade window are unidentified, then you'll receive one additional Regal Orb upon the transaction's completion. The very same thing will happen if all items have at least 20% quality. If both conditions are met, then you'll receive 3 Regal Orbs. You can also place 3 Identified rare items with the same name and 20% quality for 1 Regal Orb;
- To receive 20x Orb of Fusing, you must trade a 6-socket item to your nearest vendor;
- To get one Orb of Alchemy, trade identified magic or rare gear pieces;
- To obtain an Annulment Orb, one must trade in 20 Annulment Shards to the nearest vendor. Shards can be obtained via specific quests or by dismantling specific items.
In the original title, vendor recipes are one of the most reliable methods of farming PoE currencies early on. However, if you know at least a couple of better uses for these sweet armor sets in your inventory, then consider investing in our Path of Exile 2 Currency Items Farm Service instead. Instant delivery, absolute safety, and extremely helpful support are guaranteed! Prepare your Exile for the current league together with EpicCarry!
What are some other currency items available in Path of Exile 2 and how do I obtain them?
Exalted Orb and Divine Orb are definitely the stars of the show, but what are some other types of currency that can be found in Path of Exile 2? Let's take a look:
- Regal Orb: this little thing will upgrade one magic item (blue) of your choice to a rare item (yellow). Crucial for leveling and will greatly empower your character. Can be obtained via a vendor recipe, as a rare monster drop (0,027% drop chance);
- Orb of Fusing: used to link sockets on gear pieces. Crucial for squeezing the maximum out of your build. Can be obtained via a vendor recipe or in the game world by slaying monsters and breaking small objects;
- Note: did you know that you can just hold the mouse button to span Orbs of Fusing and link all the sockets on the gear piece of your choice?
- Orb of Alchemy: turns a normal item into a rare one. Obtained via NPC recipes or in-game drops;
- Orb of Chance: transforms a normal item into either a magic, rare, or unique one;
- Vaal Orb: applies a random buff or debuff to a particular gear piece. A wild card of a sort, often doing more harm than good;
- Orb of Regret: grants you a passive skill refund point;
- Eternal Orb: basically allows you to "revert" an item to its initial state after you've changed it. Great for those looking to craft perfect items with extremely potent modifiers via experimentation;
- Annulment Orb: removes a random modifier from a rare or magic item. Great when making slight adjustments to your newly acquired or crafted set of gear.
If you haven't found the Path of Exile 2 Currency you were looking for on our website, then make sure to contact our managers! Surely will figure something out to help you on your Exile path. Fast delivery and account safety are included!
Are there any Path of Exile Currency Items not present in the new title? Are there any other significant changes to the currency system?
Yes. Plenty of changes, in fact:
- For starters, developers are getting rid of the Orb of Scouring, a rare item used to remove all modifiers from a specific item. That basically means that you won't be able to force a decent magic base on an item to then build on with another currency. It also means that good base drops are now close to worthless since you can't just redo the entire thing using an already powerful base:
- Is it a good thing? Scouring items did feel like a cheat and minimized the use of PoE's mechanics, so yes;
- Is it a bad thing? Farming time is now doubled due to the lesser pool of items that are actually good and useful for your particular build. Also, Orbs of Regret is now much harder to come by, since their vendor recipe included mostly Orbs of Scouring, so, also yes;
- Orb of Alteration is also pretty much gone, which means you won't be able to reroll the modifiers on the magic item you've found. The reasoning behind this change is pretty much the same as with the Orb of Scouring removal - motivate players to farm for better gear pieces and interact with game mechanics, rather than just skipping the entire process with currency item spam;
- Chaos Orbs now change only one item modifier, not all of them. The reasoning here is pretty much the same as before - to make drops more important, making players strategically hunt for a piece that will empower their builds;
- Our beloved Crafting Bench won't be present in Path of Exile 2, which means that all the vendors are now even more important when leveling and optimizing your Exile;
- Market shift towards the magic (blue) items. Removal of Scouring and Alteration orbs means that the entire Path of Exile economy will shift rapidly towards low-quality, but high-base items. Does it mean more farming, since the loot pool for your specific build just became significantly smaller? - Yep. Does it add a certain uniqueness and random rarity to each gear piece you find, making the entire "looting" part of Path of Exile 2 much more enjoyable? - Also very much yep.
In general, it's pretty obvious that large economic changes are coming fast and hard to the world of Path of Exile 2. SSF (Solo-Self-Found) players, who focus on finding build-required items, rather than trading with other players, will also have a much harder time since the amount of farming they must do to actually succeed in the game has more than doubled.
Is there any use for orb shards?
Of course! 20 pieces of the same shard can be turned into a whole currency item. For example:
- 20 Stack of Exalted Shards turns into one Exalted Orb;
- 20 Stack of Mirror Shards turns into one Mirror of Kalandra;
- 20 Stack of Alchemy Shards turns into one Alchemy Orb;
- ...and so on with each currency item in Path of Exile 2.
Shards are mainly acquired through trading with NPC vendors, as well as defeating Harbringers - a special enemy type that spawns waves of enemies and can be encountered only via the Ominous Arrival passive skill, in one of Kirac's missions, using the Harbinger map device crafting option, or by using Harbinger Scarab.
Why bother with shards, though, if you can buy Path of Exile 2 Currency straight from some of the most reliable and experienced traders on the market? Fast delivery, reliable support, and the fastest way to all the best things Path of Exile 2 has to offer guaranteed!
What's an asynchronous trading system and why is it in PoE 2?
You already know the answer. "Asynchronous" is a fancy title for your typical and well-established Auction House, seen in many other MMORPG and Diablo-like titles - basically an offline-based trading platform that allows to change goods even with the trading parties being, well, offline or AFK.
What does it mean for the PoE 2 economy, though? A couple of things:
- Good Stuff:
- Convenience: a direct f2f trading system is rather limiting and requires both parties to be online and ready to communicate. Knowing some PoE players - the second requirement might turn out to be quite difficult to meet;
- Larger Scale: obviously "Auction House" means much larger quantities of transactions happening at the same time, which is definitely good for the game's economy. No need to jump through loops for that one Exalted Orb trade anymore;
- It's just another option: the greatest thing about PoE 2 Auction House is that it's completely optional! You can travel to another player's hideout and indulge yourself in the good old face-to-face haggling should you desire;
- Not-so-good Stuff:
- Less player-to-player interactions: in the modern age "convenient" often means lack of soul and human interaction. No more writing random people in the chat, making small talk, and exchanging memes - just one boring trading window;
- No more haggling: kinda the same thing as the first point, but still - no more begging rich top-level players to throw in one more Exalted Orb just for the sake of everything that's going on in the universe. Everything has a cold and soulless pricetag - no changing whatever's written on it.
Will Gold replace Chaos, Exalted, and Divine Orb as a primary PoE 2 currency?
It most definitely won't. Gold is a nice additional layer splattered on top of all the stuff already going on in the original Path of Exile currency system - an additional reward from slaying monsters and a good leveling booster early in the game. Gold also eases the introduction of new players to Exile currency, putting a video variety of Orbs a bit to the side until the player figures out what his passive skill tree should look like and how exactly Divine Orb and other primary currencies work.
And that's basically it for Gold - Chaos, Exalted, and Divine Orb are still in the center of the new Path of Exile currency system. And if you're tired of buying PoE currency from shady and unreliable vendors, then consider investing in EpicCarry! Our traders are true connoisseurs of Path of Exile currency and will make sure to supply you with the best stuff there is! Fast delivery and absolute safety are guaranteed. Complete quests, and storylines, and enjoy everything else PoE 2 has to offer besides an endless currency farm with us!
How new and returning players can quickly adapt to the plethora of new features and changes to the PoE 2 economic system?
What you need to understand is that PoE 2 is still very much PoE - core mechanics are definitely there, unchanged, it's just a couple of side features that are different. After a couple of days of playing, you'll feel right at home, and that "unnecessary basic and boring Gold" won't seem such a big deal. To ease up your introduction to the next big thing of the Diablo-like genre, consider the following recommendations:
- Monitor Market Trends: we know for sure that our Chaos friends are going to become much cheaper in the new title, and so are some other things. It's always good to follow PoE news and keep tabs on market trends. Who knows, maybe that Portal Scroll or Mirror of Kalandra in your inventory costs a bit more than you've expected;
- Get comfortable with the Vendor Recipe System: many people despise this entire "exchange ten different something-something of the same item class to get your something-something" approach that honestly holds the entire PoE economy together. PoE 2 shows us that developers are not just keeping the vendors, but doubling down on the entire "craft and trade your way to glory" approach. Learn the most basic recipes and make sure to keep tabs on what you loot and how it can be exchanged for a couple of rare orbs;
- Engage in player-to-player trading: soloing in obviously group-based PoE was never particularly easy but with all the new changes coming in the sequel you better make peace with your introverted side and start actually participating in whatever's going on in the trading chat. Buy stuff, sell stuff, ask about stuff, just look at the stuff without actually buying it - whatever. Don't get us wrong - SSF is a completely viable way to play and we're all for it, you do you, but there's no denying that apes together strong. Trade PoE Orbs with other players and keep tabs on that trade chat, maybe some junk you have lying around is actually someone's treasure!
- Rediscover your love for crafting: you can easily fly through WoW, TESO, or some other MMO content without even engaging in crafting activities, sure. PoE 2, however, is a completely different beast. Crafting is crucial for your survival and with every dev log it's becoming apparent that PoE's entire end-game content will heavily depend on crafted gear, weapons, and consumables. Additionally, player-produced goods will play a crucial role in shaping the game’s economy. So, even if you’re not crafting for your own benefit, consider crafting as a way to contribute to your Exile’s financial success!
- Stockpile Currency: and we can't stress it enough. If there's a set of gear just lying around in your vault - do some additional farming (if necessary) and exchange it for an orb. If that 19x stack of Divine Shards has gathered dust in your bag since the original's release, then, again, go hunt some Harbingers and get your orb. Another player accidentally gave you an additional Mirror of Kalandra when trading? What Mirror of Kalandra? He probably just forgot in his chest of something. If there's an opportunity - grab it and make sure to grab it good.
Alternatively, one of the best ways to safeguard your future in the Wraeclast is to buy cheap PoE Currency from EpicCarry! Our reliable traders are always there for you with fast delivery, 24/7 support, and tons of PoE 2 Currency ready for the taking. With EpicCarry, you don't have to worry about whatever new idea comes to the brilliant (in a scary way) Grinding Gear Games folks - you'll be ready for any economy, gameplay, or class change months before it arrives.
