To do this, you must complete the first three chapters of the Campaign Secrets of the First Ones, research Sopranian Understanding at the cypher console in Exile’s Hollow, and complete the questline starting at Finding Tahli. Once completed, the next day you can start The Lost Component which leads to unlocking Protoform Synthesis (Mount).

Gather the required materials

Once you have obtained the Schematic: Forged Spiteflyer and unlocked the Protoform Synthesis Forge, you must gather the required materials to craft the mount. The required materials are:

Genesis Mote drops off all animal-like beings in Zereth Mortis. Vespoid Lattice drops off of all Vespoid creatures in Zereth Mortis. Elites and Rares have a higher drop chance. Eternal Ragepearl drops Elite Mawsworn Automas.

Craft the Forged Spiteflyer mount
