Is there any other way to obtain Kali Sticks besides the Return to Verdansk event?
Yes! If you missed the Return to Verdansk event, you can still unlock the Kali Sticks by completing a melee challenge: Get 3 kills while sliding in 15 different matches using a Combat Knife. Once you complete this challenge, the weapon will be permanently available in Multiplayer, Warzone, and Zombies.
Alternatively, you can purchase a blueprint of the Kali Sticks, but this only grants partial access—you’ll still need to unlock them properly to modify attachments.
And just FYI – most of the event-related rewards become available later either as a reward for another event or as challenge rewards, so there’s no reason to be anxious about losing them precious arsenal additions.
What are the hardest challenges of the Return to Verdansk event?
There are quite a few difficult ones that will take some effort to complete:
- Opening Hidden Safes: each of Verdansk’s 12 unique locations contains a special safe that spawns randomly in matches. Finding and opening these safes can be tricky, especially with other players competing for them;
- Completing All 13 Challenges: the final challenge requires players to complete all 13 objectives, which unlocks the Kali Sticks melee weapon. This means tracking down every safe and surviving long enough to open them;
- Unlocking the Trail Blazer Operator Skin: this skin is randomly awarded when opening safes, meaning players may need to repeatedly search for safes to obtain it.
If finding some hidden safes doesn’t sound all that difficult to you, then keep in mind, that all the other players will be doing exactly the same thing. So yeah, quite a cluster heck.
How much time will it take me to complete all the Return to Verdansk Event challenges as a casual player?
As a casual player, completing all 13 challenges in the Return to Verdansk event could take anywhere from 10 to 20 hours. The biggest time sink will be finding and opening safes since they spawn randomly in matches and are often contested by other players.
However, and that’s one big however – solo players will have a much harder time completing the challenges, so if you’re flying all by yourself, then expect double the time (if not triple) and double the difficulty.
