Buy Destiny 2 Equilibrium Contest Mode Carry and clear the new Renegades dungeon during its brutal 48-hour launch window without wipes. Equilibrium is a three-player endgame dungeon that “walks the balanced path between fire and shadow,” mixing tight DPS checks with phase-switching mechanics, dense add waves, and limited revives. Contest Mode caps your Power at 370 and activates the Not Swap modifier, so every mistake hits harder and every encounter demands clean execution and optimized builds.
This boost will be completed in Piloted mode.

Equilibrium launches with Contest Mode active for the first 48 hours, meaning your fireteam is locked to a fixed effective Power, with enemy health and damage tuned for high-end players only. Not Swap wipes your Super, abilities, and ammo whenever you change Exotics or weapon ammo types, making build mistakes extremely punishing during progression pulls. Equilibrium is the Renegades expansion dungeon, a three-player endgame activity themed around balancing light and dark, with multi-phase encounters, environmental puzzles, and exclusive legendary and exotic rewards. It becomes a focal point of Renegades’ high-end PvE alongside Lawless Frontier and other Year of Prophecy content.
To start Equilibrium, you need Destiny 2: Renegades (or the Year of Prophecy edition), completion of early Renegades steps, and then you pick up the Equilibrium introductory pursuit from Aunor in the Cantina at Tharsis Outpost.
Clearing Equilibrium requires progressing through several boss encounters and traversal sections built around “balance” mechanics, managing overlapping add waves, and dealing consistent damage while responding to phase changes. Success comes from learning each encounter’s symbols and triggers, optimizing builds around survivability and burst DPS, and keeping deaths low to preserve revives for the final boss.
Outside Contest Mode, Equilibrium sits in the usual high-end dungeon tier, punishing careless play but manageable with a coordinated team. Under Contest Mode, however, the fixed 370 Power recommendation plus Not Swap and dense enemy tuning make it significantly harder than standard dungeon runs, especially during blind day-one progression.
