Trials give you five Weekly Trials challenges at a time, and that set refreshes on a fixed weekly reset. Each week brings a new combination of five objectives drawn from a larger pool of possible challenges, so the exact tasks change, but the total active at once is always five.
Trials challenges focus on specific in-raid actions like damaging ARC enemies, destroying Ticks or Hornets, harvesting plants, opening ARC Probes, or searching First Wave Husks and Supply Drops. Some weeks lean more into combat, others into exploration or interaction-based tasks, but all of them track points for repeating the listed action during a raid.
To complete a Trials challenge, you perform its listed action during a raid to earn points, pushing toward the three milestones at 1,000, 2,500, and 4,000 points for uncommon, rare, and epic caches. Points only lock in when you extract alive, so optimal play is to focus on one or two challenges per run, farm them hard, and then leave rather than risking a wipe.
Some Trials are straightforward, but others—especially those tied to rare enemies like Ticks or specific map mechanics—are notoriously demanding without a plan. Completing all five at 3-star (4,000-point) levels in a single week usually requires targeted farming routes, good knowledge of spawn locations, and consistent extractions, which is why many players use boosting services to secure full completion.
Each individual Trials challenge pays out a mystery cache as soon as you hit its point milestones for that week, but seasonal rewards are tied to your final Trials rank at season’s end. To receive rank-based cosmetics like emotes, outfits, and backpack charms, you need to maintain or improve your rank until the current Trials season concludes.
